LOL back. We’re you all warm and fuzzy still when he called the Lakers a s*** show while recruiting for the Clippers?

If believing espn or fox sports or yahoo sports or any major news outlet for calling KL to LAKERS a done deal, is sorta my fault then not much I can do about it because those are my sources, I don’t have any connections with any athletes so whatever media reports is all I know to believe them .

I am over the whole you guys thing ... I will gladly serve a suspension if I have too ..

yeah it’s just a game lol ... go easy on me guys .

Am kinda curious with your name how you are the one and only person in it that doesn’t know David Stern caused the C.Paul to Clippers to happen by vetoing the done deal sending him to the Lakers?

Oh I know he blocked it ... but I bet you CP was in on it too ... CP secretly hates the lakers..just like when people assume KL was toying with Lakers I can absolutely say the same about CP

Nothing deserving of a suspension has been said or done, I was just giving you some info on why you probably ran into some conflict here already. As for sources, IMO there are a lot better people in the know on Twitter than randos on Fox Sports and ESPN. Nobody knows everything, but the Twitter NBA news community always delivers in some way.

I can’t stand Chris Paul, but this isn’t true. When he was traded Paul was thrilled be joining Kobe on the Lakers from what I remember.

CP is a rat... yes I rather cheer for KL
CP played the lakers hard to jack up his own self worth

u have CP then comes a cocky guy being compared to Kobe while he hasn’t achieved nothing .. yeah I hate the Suns

Yeah, that's clickbait. There was never any indication kawhi saw the Lakers as a realistic destination. He was basically waiting to see if the clips would be able to trade for PG and his camp made sure not to let that out

And he was never going to sign with us anyways. Zero chance he would've been willing to be the second or even third option behind bron and AD. If the clips hadn't been able to trade for PG, I'm almost certain kawhi would've returned to Toronto

I met Magic and Cookie in person while hearing their names mentioned, not knowing they were there, at a golf club while in the middle of a dance circle for a Bat Mitzvah party. They were on the perimiter. Had to go over after that song and thank him for the Showtime & Lakers memories. That were both very gracious. Unlike Shaq who I met doing another private video gig filming an engagement party down the SF Valley side of the hill from Mulholland several houses. He lived next door and had stopped in for awhile with his wife. He was seated on this little half wall with her off the dance area so again I walked over to say Hi and ask him how his foot was doing (that period where he couldn’t play because he waited until late in the summer to get the procedure done) But he saw me walking over with the camera hanging down from my arm and gave me a dirty look like don’t be coming over here with that. I kept coming anyway and asked (not with camera up of course) and he just mumbled something about his foot was getting better. That was that LOL.

Just the mention of Del Harris irritates me. How he had prime Shaq + young Kobe + Nick the Quick + Eddie Jones + Robert Horry + Derek Fisher + Rick Fox + Elden Campbell and could not get it done still frustrates me.

I would take that roster over the one we have now in a minute.

Clicks? Ratings? NBA ratings in their biggest series last year with the biggest star playing in the series drew 5.9 for 6 games. Ratings are trash this year too. And last year, people were forced to stay home.

There is no food on the planet worth what the price is. You pay to pretend to be a yuppie when you go to those overpriced steakhouses. But, it's entertaining so, you do it. Especially when you're rich like me.

harris gets too much sh** from lakers fans when he was the one that got them back into title contention

harris set them up for greatness but he was never going to be the guy to lead that lakers team to a title. phil had to come in and finish the job. kobe coming into his own helped too

Agree. Harris is the guy that developed Nick, Eddie, Elden into something. Like 432J said, he was meant to be almost the development coach. We also have to be honest about Kobe at that point too. He had him for 3 seasons. Kobe wasn't even ready to start for the first two seasons. All those guys were good players, but we know superstars win in this league, and talent wise (at the time) they only had one superstar in Shaq. Kobe was on the precipice, but he averaged 7 and 15 in his first two seasons.

Also, let's not pretend that Shaq was giving it his all under Harris. Phil shows up and Shaq comes out in revenge mode. Kobe also took the next step in his evolution from great young player to superstar. Was that Phil's doing? Phil wasn't in the gym whipping Shaq into shape, and Kobe, well, he was going to keep working no matter who was coach.

Point being, Phil wasn't going to lead that team to a ring either. Harris did his job. Rambis came in for a short stint and proved how terrible he was and how much we needed Phil, and Phil pushed us over the finish line. Everything worked out perfectly and everyone did the jobs they were supposed to do.
