People need to stop watching those shows. But for some reason, morons keep watching it and we have to keep hearing stupid s*** coming at us even though we aren't watching.

Not my choice of shows in our break room at work, I agree it is stupid s*** but I’m not a moron for having to listen. Get what you are saying but that was a little steep

Slow your roll, Sally. If I wanted to call you names, I'd do it in person.

Eyeball test confirmed by the stats:

Regular season we shot 38% on 16 wide open 3s per game. That’s upper 1/3 of teams in attempts but near the bottom in efficiency (a few teams at 36%)

Playoffs we shot 32% on 17.7 wide open 3s per game. That’s third highest in attempts but third lowest in efficiency (Boston and Bucks at 31%, 30%).

Just looking at the box score, seeing a low 3pt% every damn game might lead to speculation that our offense sucked (not saying Vogel produces championship spurs or warriors’ offense) and we took desperation shots. We got a ton of open looks. Arguably, we should have tried something else. But the fact remains that if we shot even our regular season average, we might still be playing, AD injured or not.
Clearly, injuries are the biggest culprit, as evidenced by the Bucks shooting even worse, yet they’re the title favorite right now.

yeah, i'm not on board with the "vogel's offense is the worst" crowd. it's not great, but we get a lot of good shots. and many times, they come from guys who can and have made them. we had a team-wide cold spell in the playoffs. it happens. we had some hot streaks from the very same guys last year. also happens.

now, one could argue that better shooters would convert a higher rate of the open threes we create. though we've seen that not happen several times in the past (across several versions of our team, which is doubly weird). danny green and reggie bullock were, on paper, much better than kuz and kcp. but they didn't produce much for us.

and the cost of these 4% better shooters could be the league's #1 defense and a proven title-winning formula.

i liked our team last year and this year. both very good. one was healthy, got some breaks and hot streaks, and won. the other got injured, caught zero breaks, and went collectively cold at a bad time.

Yeah I can’t be too critical of Vogel’s offense while we are far and away the best team with a healthy Bron and AD. I think last season we saw too much bball without a healthy Bron and AD, so our offensive deficiencies got exposed, and we were left scrambling around, passing it to whoever was not afraid to get yelled at if they missed.

The more I watch these playoffs, the more it becomes obvious that the Lakers would've won the chip if AD+Bron were healthy. These four other teams, I applaud them for being the finalists, but they got very lucky with vsing injured rosters. No asterisk but I don't think this playoffs proves much in terms of who the better team is... Next season, we know a fully healthy Lakers and Nets team will be the favorites with the Warriors right up there as well. No one is going to pick any of these four teams to repeat...

True, they're always super pumped to play against us; I mean I would be too. And now that they're actually talented, it's more of a problem.

I could have sworn they beat us once the past season and the previous (championship) season once or more with a healthy Bron and AD. I forget now.

Pretty sure you’re right. Almost certain the first time we played them last season after getting AD and them Snake.
