yeah, the clippers site that was reporting it seemed more optimistic, citing that he was walking without a limp and such. and if it was bad, wouldn't he have already had surgery? separate issue: i was looking at their cap sheet (to verify that kawhi's PO was this summer), and why does everyone talk about us not being able to keep our team together and pay salaries and there's not a word about the clippers. even if we have to go full MLE on AC and THT, we're still in better shape than they are: kcp and kuz are our next highest salaries (after the big guns) at 13 per. that's morris and beverley for them. ibaka's like trez for us, but i'm guessing trez opts out. then they're paying rondo and zubac something in the neighborhood of what we'll likely pay caruso and THT. the kicker is kennard, whose extension kicks in next year is paid kuz/kcp money, but for a longer period of time. bear in mind, he's fallen all the way out of their rotation at points. it's great for them that mann is cheap and locked in, but batum and jackson are UFAs, which jackson, at least, in line for a big raise. tl;dr: if they can pay for that roster, we can pay for our current roster plus upgrades.

Gonna get flamed for this but.. I actually legit feel bad for Paul George. Totally get he missed the 2 FT’s but he’s a Clipper. That curse runs way deeper than him.
It's not a curse. It's Clippers. They are the Clippers. The only reason why they get so much attention is because Lakers fans keep talking about them for God knows what reason.
