I’ll do all right with one? OK .... I guess. That would be pretty sick with Lillard and Lebron and AD. Anyone check that with @karacha ? Maybe he’d mind it less? I think you’re putting me on anyway. No one gets both replaced from 2 different donors do they?

I'd consider a AD - Lillard swap in Summer 2022 if AD gets injured during the next playoffs again .

No. I've never heard of it happening legally, but I imagine on the black market, some rich dude has paid for and received 2 kidneys. :D

I mean, do we want Lillard or not? I don't want you to think I'm not sacrificing. I'm going to be supplying the little Igloo cooler to transport them.

I wonder if the Lakers can snag Avery Bradley for vet minimum. Assuming we keep Schroder, I think both of them playing backcourt would be a great defensive duo.

Is it correct that we’d only have access to the full MLE if Trez opts out?

Curious who some potential MLE targets might be since that seems one of the primary avenues we have to improve the team outside of a Schröder sign and trade.

What do you guys think about DeRozan? I know it’s probably pipe to think he’d take a paycut to the MLE range, and then there’s the lack of three point shooting to consider. But I would love to have him here. He can still create his own mid range bucket at will, and averaged 7 assists too. Maybe the MLE on a long-term deal may convince him to come home to LA.

I have this strange feeling that the Houston Rockets will buyout John Wall (Klutch client) and he signs with the Lakers for the vet minimum and will be our starting point guard next season.

I'm not making that offer if I'm the Lakers, but if I was Portland I take AD for Dame without hesitation. I'm a big Dame fan, but Portland is stuck in first round hell even with him. You would hope for health, but AD would transform their D and still score about what Dame scores. He is the best two way player in the world when healthy (Giannis and Embiid and LeBron all have an argument). But this is all speculative fun. No way we offer AD.

John Wall has to agree to the buyout and no team in the NBA is going to pay him $90 million over two years. Too much money to give up. Wall is gonna be a Rockets for the foreseeable future.

Not a good start for them trying to keep him happy.

What would be Lakers‘ incentive to move from Vogel to Kidd? Wouldn’t be for defense or the team chemistry he creates. Certainly should not be for offense either, since Kidd is already on that bench and I doubt Frank who is saying Jason is one of his best friends ... is just ignoring “brilliant” offensive input from the guy.

kidd is a mediocre head coach at best, as we saw in brooklyn and milwaukee. there's absolutely zero reason why anyone should want him to replace vogel

the fact that he so quickly turned down the blazers job is odd. either he's hoping to land the C Bags job, or he knows dame wants to go elsewhere

Woj basically said on ESPN that it was too unstable of a gig for him to go to. I think that makes sense. If Dame is still there next season, that's going to be the question of every interview, every day. That's going to be felt in the locker room. And there's going to be pressure and stress from the front office and fan base to make it work. Cause if he leaves after your first year there, that's going to look bad on Kidd. And if he does leave is that an attractive gig any longer? Rebuilds rarely keep one coach long term.

There's much more stability with say...Boston. I think that's best case for him based on the current openings.
