Cranjis on twitter wrote about it all season long ... Lakers rarely run counters when the defense is sending help on AD and Lebron post ups . The 4 others players are basically not moving way more often than not

It just baffles me. They’re pros; they should know to get open. I see it happen more often at the gym! What gives? Unless they’re specifically told not to move??

Vogel is just bad on offense , lack of practices and continuity didn't help but yeah it's still inexcusable

no way they should be told to stay still, none of em are exceptionally 3pt shooters, heck even kcp should be constantly moving ala ray allen/jj reddick to get open for 3pt shots

    Its panic time lol.

It was blatantly obvious to me that there is no magic switch for the Lakers, when they barely have any chemistry together. And then add the shooting woes.

Even the best D in the league can't win without shooting (this bad). But its not over yet, we still have a couple of games as I believe game 6 will be a W.

Last night was the rare moment when I expected a loss and was still letdown by our performance. We showed no heart and just quit out there.

AD in street clothes had as many points as our starting backcourt did.

yes. guys need to learn when and where their shots might come from. these guys have barely played together. people really underestimate the value of continuity. phx has had their whole team most of the year. trust me, they'll be bad-to-meh again next year and people will be like "what happened??"

some offenses do that. if you play with james harden, once he floors the ball, you pretty much have to stay still because he doesn't have great court vision (i know, i know...the assists!). offenses with lots of player movement require high hoop iq from all 5 guys on the floor, which is actually an nba rarity.

i actually half-expected a win, but when i saw lebron in the first quarter, i turned the game off. he needed to be dominating, and he looked hurt and frankly, not confident.

That was smart as the second quarter was one of the worst basketball performances I’ve seen in quite some time.

i saw it coming. checked the score and saw that it was 60-34 or something and was like..."yep...that looks about right".

i know it seems silly, but when bridges waltzed in for the offensive put back jam when it was 10-5, i almost turned it off there. it was just clear we didn't have the appropriate urgency. when lebron refused to post and score (watch kawhi with the clips--he WILL NOT allow dallas to get away with that), i thought it was going to get ugly. and boy did it.

Nothing says we’re in this together as Lakers fans than to be experiencing a horrible beat down in the playoffs in Game Time ..... with a team that’s crippled and knowing your season is over in one or 2 more games unless a miracle happens ..... while you’ve got piling on from someone, beating you over the head and baiting and seeing how far they can go .... trying to “gotcha” the mods .... with a controversial at best, and unlikely and unpopular at worst, trade idea of one of our 2 marquee players that saved this franchise and won a championship just 8 months ago. Piling on the player now while down with some potentially serious issues that shouldn’t honestly be messed with at this point with Bron also not 100%, if he’s to have a chance at a truly recuperative and strengthening off season. With the hyperbolic “always” injured argument so “impossible” to build around going forward after LeBron. Because he has a captive small audience there and likes to argue his points to the death anyways.

Yeah, am sure this guy was always against bringing AD to the Lakers, to team up with his guy Lebron, as one of our absolute best chance options to win a ring or multiple rings hopefully while LBJ still had gas in the tank. And was on record with that with a better option and doable roster plan.

So thanks for that last night just so you could argue and antagonize a point none of us obviously can do anything about anyway, while we were going through a gut wrenching loss and probably the end of the season realistically. So walk your talk now and put up a poll with a simple question so everyone can chime in not just the captive few of us. Would you trade AD straight up for Damian Lillard?

One of the smartest basketball heads on LG said he would consider AD for Dame.

Let's not get ruffled. It's just a consideration.

And it's one Rob probably would have a conversation about, too.

However, it's not realistic...nothing to worry about.

That wasn’t the point. It was the badgering and the baiting under the crappy circumstances. And a challenge, do the damn poll now. Properly. Get it? Of course you know this wasn’t about you? You were just piling on with the “soft” bleep. Was a terrific night in GT.

lillard's a 30 year old small guard who's never been a defender. his teams generally finish in the bottom half of the playoff picture and are usually dispatched early. aren't the latter facts always used against AD? and lillard's had better casts around him the entire time in portland, including an efficient 20+ppg scorer next to him (something AD never had). he's an outstanding offensive player and the best clutch player since kobe.

advanced stats (until this season) generally favor AD, though it's pretty close. basically, AD is a very good offensive player and an excellent defender, and lillard is an outstanding offensive player and a bad defender. both are top-tier nba stars that fans should be glad to have as a foundation piece.

i think neither team makes the trade, personally, but i agree that it's super weird to watch the majority of the forum turn on a franchise cornerstone like they have this year, so shortly after a title. granted, a lot of folks on that side dug in early and refused to come out even after he was critical to delivering the rings.

In the game day thread I basically said the chances of Portland dealing with us are right around the same chances of the Spurs dealing with us. I like Dame, but he only ends up here if he leaves as a free agent.

So, then stay out of GT or just put the person on ignore.

Seems like an easy fix to me, LTL.

Screw that and putting people on ignore is weak. BBP should put his damn poll up now on LD, how about that?
