Lots of people are saying this but still nobody wanted to be that team to face and beat the ailing Lakers .

Bron will be playoffs ready by Game 2 ( if playing 2 play in games)/Game 3 of the 1st round.

Clippers have to incorporate Ibaka again too .

This is my main reason of optimism , no team has been good enough chemistry wise or has stayed injuries pb free enough to beat us ( Mitchell/Conley for Utah too)

IF Bron and AD can be close to their usual self and stay healthy , we'll win the West without a doubt

That’s right they tanked for the freaking Rockets the game before as well.

Damn. Not even Baller's media payroll account can shut Windhorst up from calling out LA's junior varsity squad......

Talk about installing a complete lack of confidence in your team. Should've stuck with Microsoft only Buba. Cross-success in different fields ain't no guarantee. The guy is gonna resort to witchcraft next.

MSFT didn’t do all that well under him even until Nadella took over after Ballmer left.

I haven't read, seen, or heard a single person who understands what the hell the Clippers were thinking. This is the equivalent of being a lottery team, knowing if you lose the next one, x team gets your pick, that pick is the #1 pick in the draft, and the team is going to select Zion with that pick. Then actively tanking that game.

Their shot against us was before we get our sea legs and develop chemistry. Instead they perfectly positioned themselves for that potential matchup. And if you believe in your team and aren't scared of us, that's fine and dandy. But this is a team that isn't going to get healthier as the playoffs progress. The two leaders of their team are the face of load management for the Western Conference.

They tipped their hand that they're scared and running from us. That has to drum up confidence with our guys. So, thanks (again) Lue. You just keep doing us favors.

yeah, but the okc was worse because it was two teams actively trying to lose. at least houston had no incentive to lose. the lac/okc game was a clown show. like: "threatens the integrity of the league" type stuff.

and the play-in didn't fix it.

Clippers are losers. They have always been losers and they will continue to be losers.

If you are surprised by their p**** a** tank, well, it's obvious you have acclimated yourself to the Greg Pop a Zit philosophy of playing professional basketball.

I love how transparent the narrative is about the Clippers tanking to duck the Lakers. Hilarious to see all the clowning against them in the media this week

But I hate to be this guy, I have to say it:

    (1) They made the right move. I honestly think despite the optics, Ty Lue was mainly just trying to get as much rest for his main guys as possible. They legitimately have had some guys banged up. So if they can rest their guys, and in the process get a better bracket? Man, I wouldn’t have had any issues if we did the same if the tables were turned.

    (2) I’m glad they made that move. Let’s be real, none of us wanted to play the Clips in the first round. They’re mentally weak trash ... but they get up against us. They buy into that pseudo-rivalry and base their entire existence off it. It’s some insecurity on their part, but it gives them an edge when they play us as compared to other teams in the West. I would love to see them choke against another team before they even get to us in the bracket, or if not, I’d rather face them after we gain some rhythm and get a few playoff series victories under our belts.

I think it’s going to come back to bite them. It’s almost like they are programmed to somehow do the wrong thing that will lead to their ultimate downfall, like they cannot sidestep it, they can’t choose another path, it’s kind of..I don’t know, spooky at this point. Like they should have wanted us right now, you play all-in like that you usually get rewarded I think, just having that mentality is what makes a lot of teams champions in the end. The Clippers, it’s like they’re so god dang afraid of that failure crouching in wait around the corner they trip themselves up before they even get there, the monkey on the back is like as big as the Cubs and Sawks before they finally won.

They may get up to play the Lakers and you may be right about the edge part. I'm sure Bron and AD also remember all the stuff that has been said last season though, and how the recruiting of Kawhi went. They will be extra motivated as well and I pick our stars over theirs each and every time.

I soncerely hope we meet them at some stage of the playoffs this year.

Pandemic P vs Dallas in the 1st quarter: shooting 1-7, missed all of his 3-pt attempts.

Clippers are in trouble. Mavs just play better as a team, and match up well with them
