They’re really swarming and good on defense and were all over him in the key. Same with Harrell.

I see well we've got to figure out how to combat it. Or I guess just wait until Bron and AD get back lol.

We need more out of our starters on a consistent basis. These are the guys making the big bucks and they need to lead by example. We get more out of McKinnie in 15 minutes then we get out of other in 20 to 30 minutes. Sure some of its on garbage time but we get garbage time because starters are turning the ball over and missing wide open shots.

What’s with Kuz’s obligatory one or two air balls in the first half these days and goofy looking occasional moon shot free throws?

Need our 3 point defense to improve. Utah was 23 out of 59 from 3 point land 39%. Crazy

Happy we won. Not a game any of us expected to win 3 days ago.

No Mitchell, Rudy, Conley, or Favors? AND coming off a game the night before? And playing on the road. They were actually more impaired than us.

We got really lucky in a lot of ways. To win despite giving up 23 3s??????

Happy Drum and KCP got games for confidence going forward. But we must address the 3s we give up.

yeah, winning a game against anyone who makes that many threes is really rare. and i don't care that they were down everyone; we've been down everyone for like, half the season. take all ws.

Yes. Take them all. Role players getting big minutes and hopefully confidence.

We deserve some luck, after all these injuries (Bron, AD, Drum, Kief, Kuz, etc., plus a suspension of THT).

and we got a lot!! Orlando traded Vuc, Gordon, and Fornier right before we played them. It’s three best players.

Toronto was without Lowry. It’s best player.

Charlotte without Hayward, Rozier, and Ball. It’s three best players.

Nets without Harden, Kyrie ejected, and KD limited. Three best players.

Utah - no Mitchell, Rudy, or Conley - it’s three best players.

Could have been really bad for us. Will take it.

59 3 pt attempts in a single game. dear lord

the NBA is pretty much just a 3 pt shooting contest now

More luck. Yes. Blazers lost to Charlotte. And Mavs lost, at home, to the Queens. Yikes.

I'll take all the lucky breaks we can get. I'm hoping we steal another one against the Jazz as they'll be withouth Mitchell again but of course Gobert/Conley will be back so it's going to be tough. But winning 2 in a row against Utah would be damn impressive no matter what way you look at it, and huge for our guys confidence moving forward. Wouldn't be nice to finish 8-8 without LeBron & AD? I believe AD will return vs Dallas so this is really the last game without our top 2 guys...let's make this one count and give the media something to talk about it

Didn't Utah made 14 of its 23 in the 1st half though ?

I thought we did a better job in the 2nd half at running them off the 3pts line besides not getting a hand up(or not being attached enough to) on some 3s from Ingles

Getting a split against the Mavs is more important imo to get the tie-breaker and keep the Mavs at distance

We're not beating the Jazz with Conley and Gobert , let's rest some players

@wcsoldier81 you’re not wrong in what you have called for a couple of times now, essentially putting up the white flag against an almost sure loss and resting some key players who could really use it. But you have to know it’s not going to happen with this team. Whoever can go will go. That’s the fighting mindset always.

i'm not sure it matters. the mavs have lost three straight to bad teams during a time in the schedule when they should have been fattening up. they might have already blown their shot at avoiding the play-in.

Mavs have a super easy schedule to finish. Agreed, should have gone like 15-5 to finish, would have locked up the 5th or 6th seed. But these recent losses. Maybe they want to face the Suns.

Lakers have it pretty tough, Mavs, Clips, Nuggets, Knicks, Suns, Blazers, Wizards, Grizzlies, Pels, and some tough back to backs still.

if we can’t hold 5/4, would you rather play the Clips in round 1, or the play-in at 7 to face the Suns? Give me the Suns round 1. Want our guys to be back and acclimated before facing the Clips. Would love to see the Clips face the Blazers in round 1, or Nuggets. They woul destroy the Mavs.

Probably ... Guys like Dennis , KCP and Kieff could use 4 consecutive days of rest though .

The current rythm is both mentally and physically not substainable.

There is almost one month left . I just believe more significant injuries to our players can't be avoided playing every other day.
