they're still good. i'd like to avoid them for as long as possible so kawhi isn't 100% (he won't be as the playoffs wear on).

that said, they could easily be upset, too. dallas could have beaten them last year had porzingis not gone down, imo. they could this year, as could utah, denver, even phx. they play us well, but they're vulnerable against other teams.

we're a problem for those other teams in ways the clips aren't.

That's why i want them to play DEN before us. They match up nicely against us but DEN will kick their butts in the PO... again.

Yeah, the matchup between them and Denver is not close at this point. The Nuggets have their number now, IMO.

Thank you Atlanta. Why sign him in first place?

I want to get them and the Nets in the PO and prove we are the better team. I trust our team but the absence of LeBron and AD will impact our performance in the playoffs. We are probably going to be 5th seed and face Suns

I’d think that would be one of our preferred early matchups for the gentleman’s sweeps to come excluding the Clippers.

Didn’t Beverly just come back from an injury? And did Olidipo get injured again last night against Lakers by just jumping?

Don't think Rondo has helped that much: more like Paul George looks bouncy again similar to the beginning of the season.
The toe injury really seemed to bothering him. Who knows which version of Paul shows up as he's just fragile, he seems like a guy who is either looks like an MVP caliber guy or any sort of tweak (last year shoulder, this year toe) her performance drops significantly.

They're simply a scary team if both George and Leonard are healthy just like the beginning of the year: I'm with @abeer3 and that you want to try to avoid them as they are susceptible to wear and tear and get them later. That combo of two big athletic wings who can switch everything and force Lebron to play offense and defense and if Ibaka ever gets healthy to pull AD out of the paint is something I'd prefer to avoid.

yeah, we need to do a better job exploiting their centers on defense, imo. that first game we played we let ibaka hurt us as a standstill shooter and didn't do anything to take advantage of his difficulties defending in space.

but in any case, they are uniquely designed to give us problems. that said--and i think i said this elsewhere recently--i could totally see them losing to utah or even someone in the portland/dallas range, too. their weaknesses can be exploited, but we aren't strong in those areas. other teams are. i don't see the clips winning a title, but they are a threat to us in a series for sure.

The ole load manager (or petrifier?) is back. Snake resting up these days with a sore foot. Sees what Bron’s doing.

Clippers tanked their way to 4th place to avoid the Lakers in the 1st round. It’s not guaranteed yet but their loss today is telling. They’re trying to avoid us.
