..... that he might keep us from re-upping Turner and Kershaw?

Read that. Am unfamiliar with him, just saw he won the Cy Young.

I think they signed him because of his increase in fastball velocity and also spin rate on all his pitches. Dodgers love that. He trained at Driveline in Seattle in recent years, which has helped his improvement. Same with guys like Kershaw and Jansen.

Oh, and it helps that he's right-handed to balance out our starting rotation since everyone is left-handed except Buehler.

This video is very interesting if you want to know the real Trevor Bauer story.

LMAO at the short clip not too far from the end of this long video where the catcher knew he didn’t have the ball in his mitt (bounced in dirt ? not sure) and started his frantic look for it only to find it literally stuck to his chest protector.

So much for Driveline training methods being responsible for dramatic increases in spin rate?

Oh and Bauer com es with a LOT of baggage it appears, according to an article in the Times shortly after he signed, including multiple instances of harassing and inciting his Twitter followers to harass women on line following words or differences of opinion. That cocky strut off the mound he does,LOL, guy looks like kind of a d*ck. But hey .... he’s our d*ck now, right? ;)

I'm not a fan of cheating, BUT, if everyone is cheating then you better learn how. Sounds like Bauer has mastered it, and is willing to teach the other pitchers on staff. I'm imagining Walker Buehler with something extra...

Yeah. Funny you say that. I was just coming to say the sports guy on the ABC news was just talking about spring training and said Roberts was saying Kenley is looking “fantastic” and he’s expected to be the closer again.

Is it Driveline ..... or ..... Memorex?

How in the world does the FO + Roberts think that Kenly is still the best option to hold on to late inning short leads?

Dave Roberts is the worst manager who's won a title I have ever seen. EVER. I have seen ALOT. If Cash didnt pull a Dave Roberts, maybe the Series last year goes 7 and then it's anything goes. He is freakin horrid. He just can not stop giving finished players shots at the worst time of the game. A lot of me doesnt want Kershaw back next year because all in all Kershaw sucks in big moments, minus a few games. Kenley is MENTALLY finished. It's facts. We will see when the hell this will stop. Just aggravating.

Did Bauer get caught doctoring the ball yesterday in our 1-0 win for home opener? Saw something on line he was being checked for it.

They sent a ball or two in for testing, hadn't heard that they had a conclusion to it.

Run roh .... suspension and fine coming up.

Have not watched him pitch yet for the Dodgers. Thought from past footage that attitude and annoying strut of his directed at the other team .... he looked like a jerk. I know “yeah but he’s our jerk now” .... but? Should I not be embarrassed when he breaks that out?

Cool! But did he do the jerk thing? Just curious. We seem to be jugglerknotting again this year and the team keeps pulling up great young players when they’re ready continually from the farm system.

Kenley is battling but Dave Roberts needs to be thrown off a cliff head first. Worst manager I have ever seen win a title. He make the worst decisions on everything and gets lucky the rest of the way. So tired of Dave Roberts. They will never fire him.

This is a crazy team slump. Good thing it's a long season. And May is a big loss. Hopefully Gonsolin will be back soon.

These Dodgers games are like watching the Sacre Era of Laker basketball. Watching Dave Roberts manage a baseball game is the equivalent of punching yourself in the face while crying in the mirror.
