People are saying this dude is actually dropping. There is no way he cracks the top 3 at this point and NY really likes Porzingis. Since Orlando at five has Payton, they'd go with WCS or one of the sfs (likely giving us the opportunity to swoop in and snag Harris ;)). So this kid was in the discussion for #1 overall as little as 2 months ago, now he might drop out of the top 5.

I wanna hear from some Hezonja workouts. I'm assuming he's going to be doing the late workout stock driving as well...

He's still in the mix up top and the pundits are getting bored. They're moving Porzingis up for some dumb reason. There's absolutely no way that Phil Jackson drafts Porzingis over Mudiay and keeps his job. No way. Not a chance. No way no how.

It depends who is picking at 4. I was listening to the Kyler/Kennedy podcast last night. Kyler said he's talked to three different people within the Knicks organization and they each gave a different list of 4 guys they're looking at. If they're that far off on who they want (and other outlets have suggested similar notions), I think there is a far greater chance they make a trade (Faried + 7 for 4?). That's going to tilt the entire rest of the lottery -- whatever happens in NYC.

Mudiay SHOULD be a top 4 Pick, but I'm not sure the Knicks won't foul that up one way or another.

During the podcast they were also talking about just how impressed teams have been with Mudiay's size. And how his camp has him working out in LA and he won't go out and has no interest in the LA nightlife right now. He goes back to his room and youtubes video of past/present players, trying to fine tune his craft. I love that. And whoever gets him is going to get a hell of a team changing PG for a long time. If we were at 3, I'd hope that would be us. But we lucked into the Okafor lottery and HAVE to cash in that ticket.

Well if they trade out of it, that's more understandable but I have to imagine whoever is trading to get to #4 isn't doing it for Porzingis they're doing it for Russell or Mudiay or maaaaaybe Winslow.

I think NY is lost right now because they were expecting a Top 2 pick. LOL suck it Phil and Dolan! Still, just like Mitch responded immediately and began planning for the #2, you'd think Phil would adjust right away and start figuring out #4 for the franchise. It's almost like they had no plan here outside of getting a Top 2 pick in the draft...

Maybe they had a huge trade in place at 1-2 and since they fell in the draft it fell through?

Jah - a strong, low post player with excellent footwork and skills. his big hands and soft touch only make things easier for him finishing around the rim. not a quick leaper, but a good first step off the dribble. he's so in control when he's in the post and knows exactly what he wants to do. true sign of a great offensive player. a couple things i think he could work on: moving off the ball a little better, establishing deeper low post position, going to his left hand, and nailing down that 10 foot jumper.

KAT - he's quite nimble for his size which makes him an excellent pick and roll player. great hands and soft touch allow him to finish at the rim so well. moves off the ball well to open spots and in the open court. it's scary how much he looks like Bynum to me in the post. he's certainly got great upper body strength to create space, and he has the athleticism to finish over defenders in addition to his length. great soft touch on both hands on his hooks. needs to work on a stronger base so he doesn't get pushed around and doesn't draw any offensive fouls using his upper body to much, better footwork, and staying in control.

I want Jah, but man does KAT look really good sometimes.

The thing about Okafor is that he's not just finishing through contact, he's actively seeking it. I also liked seeing a more effective looking jumper than the weird one he was showing at the Lakers' workout.

Wait until Jahlil and Julius learn even more fine points in the art of back to the basket play from maybe the best there ever was pound for pound .... Kobe Bryant. Certainly in same rare air with Hakeem skills wise. They will be around that every day, and since they both love it, will undoubtedly avail themselves of the opportunity to get meaningfully better at those skills.

^ Those weren't NBA 3's. And from the Lakers workout, seemed his shot wasn't all that good either. He's got good form though.
