Optimism Discussion: The Laker's Sky Is Not Falling

We’ll probably win about half of those 13 games, probably fall to 6th place at worst, and then when AD and Bron come back, we’ll climb back up to 3rd place before the playoffs. Book it.

 

My optimism is that we win 3 of the next 13. And are not at 500 when Bron comes back. Losing Drummond really hurts. KCP and Wes just don’t give us much. Spurs, Memphis, and NO are all in to make the playoffs now, smelling blood in the water with us.

 

love the idea of raising the banner against boston but i hope they wait to raise it in front of a sellout crowd and not like 1k people

 

Huge win. Lakers gotta win as many of these freebie ones as much as possible. Maybe we can steal one tomorrow as well. AD is supposed to be coming back in a week and a halfish.

Falling below .500 would require something like a 14 game losing streak, and AD is already coming back in less than 2 weeks. We got this.

Saying we'll shot over .500 from 3 is almost like saying Ricky Rubio will put someone an a poster.

 

in fairness, i was referring to the milwaukee game, so i was a game late. tbh, glad it happened against sac, as we probably lose the mil game even if we do shoot well, so i'll take it! any win right now is gravy.

Apparently Paul George is dealing with a toe injury that he isn't sure will recover this season. It's affecting his right foot which is his dominant side. I would have wanted the Lakers to beat the Clippers fair and square but man, Paul George is already pushing an excuse again after claiming he was ready to prove the haters wrong in the offseason...

Thanks. They don't say which toe but am assuming in his right foot the big toe. "Bone edema". Had to look it up of course.
