have to agree bout trading trez, its a bad look....also re-signing Vic n DS would be impossible not to mention we'll probably lose ac n tnt to free agency too if we did managed to keep vic n ds

Some of these guys signed 1+1 contracts which are easier to trade so they know what they're getting into (Trez/Klutch).

Lakers are still an awesome destination for talent and that won't change just because of a mid season trade.

I am sure Lebron/Klutch will be consulted about this too. If theres a move to be made to bolster the roster for the playoffs, then you make the move regardless of politics

I don't think you trade Trezz either but if the Lakers managed to get Drummond in a buyout, which line-up do you see working with Trezz? Lakers need a spot-up shooter who takes 6-7 threes per game and knocks em down consistently... Someone like J.J. Reddick (I think Lakers sign him next offseason considering he's on record stating that LeBron is the GOAT) would be amazing. I like KCP but it seems like he's been very ineffective after that hot start. Maybe he heats up in the playoffs again but it's worth considering a trade. I think the only keepers right now outside of LeBron+AD are Kuz and Schroder. After that, Lakers need to put everyone up and gauge offers.

I would not trade KCP. I know he's not playing well but the guy is durable, spaces the floor with Lebron and is still a serious outside threat. Hard to get good players who play their role well from the wing position

But considering injuries to AD + Bron, Lakers should have everyone on the table other than the Big 2 to improve title chances

unless you're getting a superstar in return, trading harrell would be a huge mistake given how well he's played. they need that spark off the bench and he's provided it all season long

and please, no oladipo. guy is so overrated and injury prone. i'd trade KCP for him but that's about it

He's coming to the Lakers! Perfect fit and he's always been on record with showing praise to LeBron. If we can get Drummond and JJ off buyout, watch out!

I think you have to keep your options open right now, though. It's unlikely KCP gets traded but you gotta at least entertain offers.

Assuming we get Drummond, our frontline bigs will be Drummond, AD, Marc and small ball bigs would be Kuz, Morris and Lebron (death lineup). There is no room for Harrell we are better off selling high on him. He won't put up production like this when our guys are back (also especially in the playoffs). He won't get the ball or the minutes so trade him to meet a need, while his value is sky high.

His motor cannot be questioned but everyone plays hard in the playoffs. His lack of defensive effectiveness is a real turnoff. We need our bigs to make an impact defensively in the postseason, I don't think Harrell is that guy IMO.

Not a transaction, but I hope the Lakers follow suit and get our players vaccinated soon. With all our injuries, these regular season games are much more important because we don’t want to risk falling into a play-in seed (or worse). We can no longer afford to lose our guys for 1-2 weeks for contact tracing and/or positive tests.

I know California’s guidelines still have stricter eligibility requirements ... but so many people I know have cut the line, and vaccinating public figures is a positive in its own right. Plus, we can do what the Blazers did and make arrangements with somewhere that would otherwise have shots go to waste. The California guidelines do officially allow to vaccinate lower priority people in situations where those doses would have otherwise been wasted.

In fact, I had put my name down for a waitlist at CVS and got a call a few weeks ago at the end of the day that they had a few extra shots due to appointment cancellations. So it’s crazy to me that I’ve been able to get vaccinated, but yet we have Marc Gasol out multiple weeks with Covid!

Everything on the table (aside from Big 2), with KCP being the toughest for you?

Depends on what we get back. It would be hard to trade away KCP considering he has proven himself next to Lebron /AD + he's shooting 40% from 3 this year.

I would not trade KCP. Love Trez but would trade him if we can't make anything happen in the buyout market

I hope I'm wrong but Trez is a great regular season player but his value in the playoffs is limited.

It makes ZERO sense to trade Trez unless he's part of a package for a superstar .

We struggle to score , let's trade Harrell ! ... GTFO
