Watching highlights this week, I was thinking to myself that Connor was very vulnerable to front leg kicks. He doesn't check, and he just absorbs them. Sounds like the right game plan.
Yeah it was and Conor has not fought regularly so he didn't adjust and looks done like Anderson Silva was when he returned
Conor always had fought with that wide karate stance but he was always lighter on his feet. More fluid, in and out. Since fighting Floyd, he learned he must sit down on his punches to generate more power. He mentioned that he’s learned to do so recently. Well, you can’t have both. A more planted boxing stance is going to open you up to leg kicks and take downs.
Most fighters stay a fight or three too long looking to recapture the magic. Doesn't usually happen. I'm hoping Pacquio doesn't stay too long.
the temptation of the absurd payday at his age doing it once a year.....has to be a draw. He needs to be wise in his choices, but I'd still like to see him take on Mayweather 1 more time. Mayweather is too chicken though.
Yeah what the hell was that I though he could finish Kamaru after nailing him on the chin but became very cautious in standing up...
