The only way I see us getting Beal is if Beal remains completely quiet on the situation and goes to management and tells them he wants to go to the Lakers. He tells them he won't publicly say anything in order to not put the Wizards in a bad spot. Then we give up THT, KCP and Harrell with some pick swaps thrown in. If it gets out he's asking to go to the Lakers, we don't get him. It has to seem like the Wizards like the package we can give them. Beal is more valuable than Harden at this point in their respective careers when you take into account the teams they would be going to. Harden is on the precipice of the downslide of his career. Beal is just entering his prime. Harden is a little redundant for the Nets. Beal is a perfect fit for us. I bring this up because our package of THT, Harrell and KCP isn't as good as what the Nets gave up for Harden.

i just don't think we have a shot after moving all the picks. picks are (false) hope to these terrible franchises.

our best offer would be THT/kuz/schroder, i think, as washington would control all of them, contract-wise. but i don't know that we can move kuz right now anyway. and they'd still (rightly) want picks that we don't have.

harrell's worth nothing in trade due to that player option, imo. unless you're moving him to a contender, which we wouldn't.

so yeah, beal after AD just can't happen, imo. sucks for his agent, too, as he can't even use us as leverage!

We can't move Kuz. He has some sort of poison pill and he still only makes 3 million this season. Schroder is a free agent so his value is pretty low to Washington who is in full rebuild mode.

There’s rumors of Lonzo being on the trading block.

Would you guys trade for him, given the fact that he will be a free agent after this summer? If so, what would the best offer you would be willing to give up?

    Shroeder straight up? Kuz+THT?

i'd do a schroeder+kuzma trade for lonzo if he committed to signing an extension

but then again, i feel like he's a mental midget who would play poorly when put on a championship contender. he would be a perfect fit for this offense though

I’m personally not willing to give up any rotational player for Lonzo and certainly not THT.

Dennis for Lonzo? Never. Why? Schroeder plays a lot of games. Lonzo has never played more than 63, and will likely play less on average. He does not score like Dennis. I'd never do this trade.

Lonzo is unreliable and he's not a confident player. He's the last thing we need right now.

Lonzo Ball is the worst shooting guard I have ever seen. 40 percent from the field. 33% from 3 and 58% from the line. 58%!!!! For a guard. Never. He is a bust and he should have been a late first or early second round pick.
