Problem is all in same price range too for the young guys. Jeanie will go over the cap I'm sure but how much, when and for how long. Sucks with no live arena income. After LeBron leaves frees up huge amount of money of course. How many of these guys can we keep until then.

I think we'd keep Schroder and THT for sure with AD. We might splurge on Harrell too if him and AD are shown to play well together. Kuzma is gone though I think. We might try to trade him for a late first rounder later in the season to some Eastern Conference team looking for a boost to maybe make the playoffs.

I would really really hope they keep AC as well.

it would be unwise to go cheap right now, imo. they got to save some cash during the lean years, and now you have to spend. when lebron goes, we'll be back out of luxury tax, but let's not find ourselves completely barren again. keep everyone you have rights to or get something via s&t.

We have a wealth of talent on this team, we’re 10
deep at least, 11 if THT gets actual time. It’s a luxury of a problem to have. We’ve also already showed flashes of the same hounding defense we played last season and the ability it gave/gives us to go on huge runs. An example from tonight

Our depth is a big advantage this season until this country gets Covid under control.

I expect some players to miss games because of either scares, or testing positive just like Kostas and Devante did last game against the Clippers. No team in the league is as well equipped to slot players in to replace teammates.

I have confidence that even if LeBron and AD we’re out for a while at the same time, we would still be competitive.

We might be the only team that could lose two max players and not skip a beat. That’s just incredible.

During the Kobe years, I ALWAYS knew when the next game was, and would often alter my schedule to watch the games. It's been awhile, but this year feels different. I'm looking forward to watching them play.

I think it’s telling of how good this team is that we were down 20 something for a long time in this game and I still wasn’t worried

Me too. They come on in the 2nd halves and have the habit of winning, and defense tightens up.

One takeaway I have is that the Lakers can play very bad for a game and still win. The margin of error for this team is super high.
