What I'm going to write isn't a spoiler.... You guys should know though... ASOFAI is such a huge series. So much lore, and so many political aspects to take in during the books. But for a show? That only runs basically a little less than a hour and costs already a million per episode to make? With time constraints? Yeah expect a lot of things to be cut out. The more complicated political things will def be cut out. And I'm sad like everyone else about Dorne... But I'm sure time constraints and budgets is making it hard to fully depict the city of dorne and all its political action.
at this point the book is much better. i'd say it was just an enjoyable as the book up until no or maybe a little bit of last season. they took out way too many good stories, that i thought was game of thrones esque (big upsets). I hope they don't take out more. im assuming Martin is being less involved as the producers get to basically kind of manipulate the ending. The ending towards last weeks episode was much more capturing, emotional, then in the series. Sticking closer to the books is probably a better idea then adjusting the story so much so its TV adaptable.
Tonight's episode definitely put things in perspective in terms of who the real enemy is in GoT, great episode!
That battle scene was incredible, played out a lot like a movie. The high point of this rather slow season.
Yeah this last episode gave me a lot more confidence in the show runners. It's not really a spoiler, but the events in this episode are only vaguely referenced in the books and it's uncertain what actually happened. It was an excellent decision to have Jon go there so we could witness those events firsthand Plus, it was just effing epic!
Has there ever been a character that has gone through such a fast reverse rehabilitation as Stannis? Dude is certified nuts and deranged.
all it took was a few burnt tents for dude to set his daughter on fire...now i want the Boltons to beat his army
Any predictions for the last episode? Spoiler Jon's death? Lady Stoneheart sightning? Arya going blind?
Spoiler I don't think Jon dies, but there will be some kind of cliffhanger involving his fate. It'll be interesting to see how Ser Davos plays into all this.
Jon's too important to kill off..i say they kill Ramsey side note: want the dubs to win but this was pretty funny
I heard that there are spoilery images from the finale that have leaked, but I don't see the actual episode available anywhere to download.
