The same problem Harrell had with Jokic. McGee tall enough and quick enough but not enough in his back pocket. Dwight gone but hopefully will bust Harden in the face in the locker room one day and walk away from the game. Glad we have Marc here for our big. And hopefully Pau too for 5 minutes a game if needing another true 7 footer. So AD doesn't have to do it regular season.
So cool to see Marc in a Lakers jersey all these years later after we traded his rights for Pau. It just looks right.
That’s what I was thinking. Were they role playing? Was one squad “the good guys” and the ones wearing the WRONG color “the bad guys”? How could they do this to me? I literally don’t think I own anything green
Slava, Sam Perkins, BI and Troy Murphy, No. 14 won't be hanging in the rafters anytime soon http://projects.latimes.com/lakers/jersey/14/
Headband over a hoodie so the hoodie doesn't flap around and stay on his head while also not blocking his peripheral vision
When was Troy Murphy a Laker? I don't remember that. It must have been during the Sacre era, or Wes Johnson era or something.
i thought the same thing. i looked it up and it was during the 2011-2012 season. i believe you and i (and likely many others) wiped that from our memory banks
We also had Jason Kapono that year. You know... the guy who shot 43% (!!) from 3 for his career, even had a year where he shot over 50%. Of course, he joined the Lakers and shot a respectful 29% from 3 that year, so... good signing.
Apparently if you sign a contract with the Lakers, there is a stipulation that you must shoot 5-7% lower than your career 3P% or the NBA will fine you.
man, cook really loves it here. why waste half of marc's time on questions about pau? he told you right off that it's more a matter of IF he can play than WHERE and WHEN he'll play. also: pau wasn't very good two years ago, whereas the guy in front of you was very good a few months ago and is a new addition to a title-winning team. do better, media. edit: how about questions regarding differences in how he thinks he'll play here versus elsewhere. what sharing the floor with lebron and AD means from his vantage point? how he fits into a schemes that featured shot blockers and rim runners at the 5 last year. i've got more ideas.
