that list is solid, but how in the hell do they classify Belinelli a ball handler and not a shooter?

It's obvious the Lakers value the chemistry they have. They didn't want to chance bringing in a guy known to be free thinking outside the team sometimes.

I’ll take Dedmon, Glenn Robinson III and Shabazz Napier

I hope that isn't the reason considering how well this team has shown to keep guys like that in check. I'm hoping it was more about $$$ or playing time related but you could be right. either way I trust in Rob!

Interesting how far he’s fallen in team’s eyes.

hopefully he finds his Inner Dwight Howard and changes for the positive. That’s unlikely to happen in Sacramento though lol

Dwight got the opportunity here because it happened BEFORE he got here, and he was winning to take a non guaranteed contract to prove it. Not sure Whitedide is there yet.

Whiteside for the minimum for some emergency big man depth would have been great for us. I would bet that we did go after him and he chose Sacramento for a larger role then we could offer.

Which is fine with me, let’s go after Dedmon I guess. He is from So Cal and looks like the market isn’t there for him, so a minimum deal with us might be mutually beneficial.

good point. Dwight had been humbled by the time we signed him and pretty much knew we were his last chance.

with that said, youd think a player like hassan would have looked at that and thought he could do the same.

we may never know the real reason why he chose kings

Odd to me that training camp is just days away and we haven’t finished the roster yet, no real move for a couple days. Maybe we are waiting on some buyouts like Batum or Ariza? I would think if we wanted Whiteside he would be here, maybe it’s Laker bias but I’d think anyone would take the minimum from us over the Kings. I too am hoping for Dedmon and another wing and/or guard though.

Yeah, obviously we did not want to deal with Hassan. That's alright.

Watching the Lakers/Wolves game on NBATV right now. I’m gonna miss all the lob dunks to Dwight and Javale. :dwightcrying:

To use a football analogy, we went from a high flying spread to a ground and pound running game.
