    You don't recall? Marc dissed us pretty badly back in the aftermath of the "basketball reasons"... I think he felt we disrespected Pau, which I am pretty sure we did.

    That's my recollection. Wouldn't mind Marc, though.

    I don't recall actually, did Marc actually diss us or was it just us attaching this narrative to it because he didn't meet with us in free agency? Doesn't matter anyways, I'm not going to take that personally considering we have need for his services now. And yeah frankly maybe we deserved a bit of disrespect from Marc the way we disrespected Pau.

    I mean if hypothetically we could have got Bogdanovic for 4 years/$72 million while having enough flexibility to fill out the rest of the roster adequately, I would have done it. Because I think he would have been a piece that really elevated us to another level and cement our championship repeat chances.

    But he's not actually worth that much IMO. And was Atlanta really even bidding with anyone anymore?

    Not THAT bad of a deal though, he could grow into it and there have been worse deals out there. For them, he might be that missing piece that cements them as a playoff team in the East now.

    Ah okay thanks, yeah nothing egregious in there. Plus it was 2015... I don't think he really needed a reason not to want to come to us. We were a dumpster fire at that point to be honest.

    But damn you scared me linking to the article like that, for a second I thought there was suddenly a NEW report that he still had no interest in coming here :D

    True, and we have a different FO now. Come on everyone, you look back on our old FO, we all hated them too!! We were a travesty, everyone knows it, we know it, so why care if someone called them out for it!?!?!?!? Truth is, if they didn't, we might still have them running the team.
