Used to be the Lakers but 2020 FAs name dropping teams with capspace like hawks and Knicks to get contenders to pony up

Jorge Sedano said on 710 ESPN last night he's 100% sure Hayward will go to Indiana where they really love him. Question is FA or S & T?

It is Mannix, a Boston homer and I would take it with a grain of salt.

But it looks like Russ/HOU trade possibility is holding up a lot of FA deals. Knicks have the capspace and money to spend.

By the way the new GM of the Knicks GM is Leon Rose (former lead agent of CAA). Lot of stories of players being linked to the Knicks .

This story feels like it was planted by Rose to lower HOU asking price

haha. Good. C Bags pretty much get more C+ players and Danny Ainge still tells the league Tatum and his worthless mid round 1st actually have value.

    Let's go after
    Ibaka with MLE
    Dwight with veterans min
    Wes with vet min
    Demarcus with vet min
    Morris with vet min
KCP whatever he wants but no "no trade clause" this time
    Give THT big time minutes
    Give Kuzma Danny Green's minutes

I think we would need to give Dwight at least the bi-annual exception. Thing is, if we get Diwight with the bi-annual and Ibaka with the MLE, we really don't need Morris at all unless we find a way to trade McGee. These signings would leave us with a center rotation of Ibaka/Dwight/McGee/Cousins with spot minutes for AD. That's kind of overkill IMO.

I think we still need Morris for spot minutes at the 4 because Kuz will need to play more spot minutes at the 3 than he did last season.

i think the boston pipe dream is for myles turner, but i feel like indy would need something else in the deal. turner's younger, healthier, and cheaper. would be a big win for boston if they could pull that off, tbh, as their big rotation blows.

lol. i'm sure houston called orlando to get gordon for westbrook, and orlando hung up. so yeah, there were "discussions".

didn't he badmouth the lakers in the playoffs this year? go to the clips, nancy. see you soon.

I would also like Morris back, just to play some backup 4 in that case. He would not play center at all if we get Ibaka, because at that point - yes, it's an overkill. But if we are just keeping McGee and re-signing Dwight, then I'd definitely use Morris as a small ball stretch center where he can work beautifully.

Ibaka+Schroeder would be absolutely amazing though, no question about that. I'm just not convinced if we have enough for Ibaka to sign with us. How much does he value winning and team culture over just $$$?

Hayward looked really good at the beginning of the year then got dinged up again. He'd be a great addition for the Knicks if he can stay healthy.

Defense isn't the same, but he also hasn't had a Gobert type for a while either.
