TBH, he had a very good college career and figured he'd do alright in the pros. Has a perimeter game... Not Bender though.

Free agency starts at midnight right? Should I put a pot of coffee on?

News will break prior as well. I remember Kyrie and KD were basically confirmed Nets hours before it was legal.

If the Lakers were caught, the league would have banned LeBron James from playing for the lakers again...

I think both will be fined, but that's it. Kings can plead ignorance, cause clearly they don't know how a S&T works. But since it wasn't a different team negotiating with an impending FA from another team, I doubt the penalty will involve any picks.

The league needs to address their new tampering rules. Players can do it by proxy for their team. It really makes no sense how they try and enforce it. Some teams aren't fined while some others are. Woj and Shams are out there reporting everything that is happening when 75% of what he says is technically considered tampering. NBA can't blame the teams for doing it if they are selectively choosing who gets fined.

Tilman liked a tweet that showed how much the Warriors were going to have to pay for going over the cap if they got Kelly. It was some huge amount like $80 million. It must suck for Tilman, honestly. Most of the money he used to buy the Rockets are through debt and he can't afford to pay some huge tax bill like the Warriors can. Not to mention his primary business in the restaurant industry is getting absolutely smashed right now. Dude is losing so much money and now he has to worry about his two megastars begging for a trade. Yikes.

Didn’t the guy sell the UFC for 4 billion? Thinking he’s doing ok.

Hayward opted out? Either insane or got paid under the table to leave (paid by C Bags that is).

i'm seeing all this apron talk for the lakers and warriors, but i'm hearing that brooklyn will be able to afford harden/kyrie/durant and then still use whatever cash is necessary to take in ibaka? how is this possible?

i don't know; it makes some sense to me, and boston is still capped out even with his opt out, right? both this year and next (because tatum is going to basically get that cash)? unless i'm reading the numbers wrong.

and for hayward, if someone told his agent they have a big deal on the table, he'd be wise to take it. it certainly be worth more than his current salary by a longshot and protects him against further injury.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. I'd rather play for a contender (even f***ers like C Bags) and make 34mil, than for lets say the Knicks and make 80 over 3 years.
I get what you're saying though and i can understand his choice now.

S&T is in play, too, which i imagine boston considers or would even prefer (to him walking for nothing). i think several playoff teams would be interested in hayward. does dallas offer THJ (expiring, played well last year) + a bit? just a random idea.
