He makes 34 mil next season?! Was he that good before the injury? I can’t even remember it’s been so long

He's been injured since landing with Boston it seems. Never has he been worth it while there it feels safe to say. 34 mil is superstar level practically.

I meant Westbrook should be their last attempt if they plan on trying with Curry and Klay still. Westbrook can play the PG, Curry SG, and Klay at SF. Warriors are undersized but Dray+Westbrook can still attack the boards and the Warriors want to play fast = Westbrook can help push the pace. There isn't a lot of interest in Wiggins and Wiseman so maybe Rockets will just take that and get rid of Westbrook. Warriors have no shot at winning it this season. They might as well get Westbrook to pair with Curry and see what they can do. They way I am looking at this is the Warriors have a two year window: This and next season. After that, Curry+Klay are done.

Quinn Cook was waived by the Lakers. Hate to see him go from a fan perspective. He's a true Lakers fan. Hope he finds a team that could play him 10-20 MPG. He's a decent player but sucks defensively...

I always liked Wayne Ellington. He was good for us and I hated to see him go. Wouldn't mind picking him up for vets minimum if possible.

I agree, but then... he won the championship with his favorite team and that's awesome.

I read some of what Rob said in a Zoom call... He was talking about not being complacent and that teams lose track of trying to get better and that he nor the team will allow that to happen. What's not to love about Rob right now? He's done such a great job and isn't complacent.

Regarding Kuz, Rob said that with DG being traded, they expect Kuzma to step up and take on a more defensive role and having more opportunities. He said that the Lakers will speak to Kuzma when the time is right in regards to an extension. Sounds like Kuzma is here to stay but anything can still happen. Time for Kuzma to stop making excuses on Twitter and step up. 37% shooting from three and above average defense while putting up 14/6/2 and he'll get a nice contract.

As for Cook, sad to see him go but he was on a non-guaranteed contract and the Lakers will be paying him $1 million. It's not like he was getting any minutes regardless but he was always rooting for the team on the bench and not being a hater.

can't wait for free agency to start... I know Rob is going to go out guns blazing!

Smart move if they don't have to give up much. May be able to sneak into the playoffs if they don't mess with any of their core.

Rob low key put Kuzma in his place and without saying it, said your extension talk can wait until next year. Show us what you got now that you have the opportunity. No excuses.

    Gotta like that.

Help me understand this one. Does he feel guilty after not playing much? I can't see him making up the lost money unless someone is super desperate.

or is Boston just that toxic hahahahaha

Looks like Gordon did the C Bags a huge favor and did himself one as well by signing with the Knicks. Interesting pairing.
