Wow - the Klay Thompson news is heart-breaking and a huge blow for the NBA.

The Warriors will be good next year but they can't win a title without Klay...

WOndeirng if they'll get some relief now for Klay's injury? They committed how much to him?

Yeah, I'm hoping it's not the achilles. We really do not know anything as Cookie says until the MRI tomorrow.

Wow, Doc went from coaching PG who cheated on Doc's daughter to now Philly trading for Seth who is Doc's son-in-law? This guy has some crazy pull. Seth is a great pick-up for them. Getting rid of Horford was their biggest hurdle and they got two shooters in Seth and Green now. If only they hadn't signed Tobias. Philly might be the best team in the East, IMO.

I want to be optimistic, and I do recall how Haynes had worded a tweet about Javale's Covid test in an overly alarming click-baity kinda way.

But usually the achilles doesn't really need an MRI to reach a diagnosis. Of course they get done anyway for confirmation, but they can usually tell just based off a physical examination and how the player is able to respond.

If they're talking about the achilles, unfortunately it's probably the achilles.

If he tore an achilles and has had an ACL tear... He'll be a shell of himself when he makes it back.

I thought Klay was the closest to Kobe among the recent stars who can get Super Saiyan hot in an instance

The way Morey was wheeling and dealing it looks like he's just going to run it with Embiid and Simmons.

HOU market down to just BKN.

Most likely you're right. But I'll wait until tomorrow when they have a full report.

Wasn't it Jordan who drafted Kwame Brown? It's not like he can't make a mistake drafting people. I bet he is not the main guy making the call on their draft picks.

I am guessing all the "stupid" from LaVar went to the oldest brother, and all the ability from the mom went to the two other. 2 and 3 is unheard of.

Wasn’t it one of the youngest two that got caught shoplifting in China? Also he was driving around a new Ferrari when he was 16 but that’s really LaVar fault I guess.

feel like gallo was always a bit of a pipe dream. i know he said he wants to win, but some teams may offer him pretty serious cash. him, bogdanovic, and ibaka all seem like S&T guys more than MLE guys to me, so yeah, i think we probably took ourselves out of the s&t market getting schroder. which is ok. i'd have preferred bogdanovic (but not ibaka or gallo, tbh), but a) it's possible we would have had to give up more for bogdanovic and b) any S&T will hurt future flexibility because they need to be three years, minimum, I think. schroder was a have cake/eat it too situation in that he's only a one-year deal.

Yeah it was Gelo the middle son that Zen’s thinking of got screwed with too much bad juju from @LaVarBallsDad ’s idiot kid instead of the great daughter-in-law’s right stuff.
