I believe there is more to Krebs' dismissal than just a difference of opinion.

There is, he essentially stood up to Trump, and if you stand up to Trump or disagree with him you are out. He’s not a president, he’s a wannabe dictator. All he’s doing is firing a bunch of qualified workers and setting up more work for the next administration to do. He’s weakening our government and country out of pettiness, he doesn’t give a s*** about you or anyone else, only himself. I don’t know how people read these inane Trump tweets and go “oh yeah, he’s definitely onto something here”.

if I had corrupt people on my staff playing for the other team, I'd fire them immediately too.

Pretty scary when you get fired for speaking up and doing your job, for defending the job you’ve done. Also pretty scary when your own party is afraid to speak up about apparent truths, basically stand up for what is right because of what the president might do to them/their careers. Again, that’s not presidential, it’s dictatorial

:D:D:D I absolutely would. How fitting would it be if Trump was known for being a literal pain in the a**. On a more serious note, how pathetic is it that the president hasn’t taken any questions from reporters in over 2 weeks? What’s he even doing, hiding and sulking? January 20th can’t come soon enough.

This whole circus has really shown me how much in the middle I am and it’s really showing me how ridiculous everyone in Washington is. The mainstream media saying Trump is staging a coup, which is utterly stupid and Trump’s legal team alleging massive voter fraud with no evidence is utterly just as stupid, maybe more.

There are irregularities in every election, but it’s never been enough to completely overturn the results of an election. There were irregularities in 2016 for Hillary as well as Trump. Both sides claim voter fraud when their side loses but are quiet as a mouse when their side wins. I’m hearing Trump voters claiming we need to get to the bottom of this voter fraud problem to have integrity in our elections. Let’s be honest, even for those who maybe saying that here. It’s only being said because our side is looking like it outright lost with or without fraud. I very highly doubt if Trump won outright that his voters would be saying anything about election integrity.

For four years I have heard from the uber-Trump supporters that the hammer’s coming, the bombshell will be revealed, people going to jail, AG Barr gonna lay the smack down on some swamp monsters. I figured it’d be fun to see so I waited and waited and waited, and lol, nothing ever happened and it appears that nothing will ever happen. Was also told how socialism was the worse thing to ever happen to society and how the Democrats are the radical evil monsters ready to turn us into Venezuela and how Trump is the savior.

On the flip side I heard from the Trump haters for four years that Trump was Hitler, the cause of the divisiveness in this country, the literal reason why black men were getting killed by cops, to name a few. I also watched how the media placed targets on anyone and everyone who decided to come out and say they supported Trump in anyway. They’ve also said once Trump leaves office that he is going to prison because of “everything that’s against him”. Umm yeah...

I really think after all this that I’m gonna choose to be apolitical. This two party system, my team vs your team is hot garbage. The media does no one any favors and we have been divided for decades. Biden ain’t gonna fix that and people who think so well ... just ...

President Trump, for all the good he has done, better have the evidence to back up the voter fraud. While there are instances and more-so than most election cycles, it's got to be proven that it can overturn the election. If it's true and they have sufficient evidence, it's only fair it gets reviewed and contested. But if this is just a ploy to stall and complicate the process, he is doing this country a huge disservice. I wanted him to win but if the voters felt Biden was the better candidate, so be it. This isn't a time for either candidates to be a sore loser. The transition needs to happen smoothly because if Biden does a great job as the President, America wins. This isn't a Trump vs Biden debate any longer. It's bad America vs good America. I will always disagree with the leftist Democrats and being a moderate Democrat myself who is now an independent because of how far left the Dems have gone, I probably will never vote Democrat again unless the candidate breaks away from the leftist nonsense. I fully believe that COVID still being a problem late in 2020 is why Trump lost. His handling of COVID wasn't good but if it had been contained before the election, he'd likely have beaten Biden, still. COVID is just too damaging for any incumbent president. Time for Trump and his team to make a final case for the courts and then concede if it's unlikely to have made a difference in the election.

One thing I will say about Biden is his tax proposal is VERY good. I'd love to see the specifics behind some of his proposals but on paper, it's pretty fair and appropriate.

I'm an independent and hate people who vote based on party lines. It's absolutely ridiculous. Politics should be about ideas and not party specific. It's why I think more and more presidential candidates will be independent in the future because they understand that solving the problems have nothing to do with being a Democrat or Republican. The only reason I side with Republicans more often is because the Democrats leftist are bat**** crazy and many former moderate Democrats are actually considered Republicans today. It's divided because Democrats vs Republicans is how they keep people invested into their system. Independents consider perspective from both sides so they are less prone to being manipulated while Democrats/Republicans will gobble up everything they see and think it's some Red vs Blue civil war nonsense.

The voter fraud ploy is a joke, it’s a sad attempt to stay in power by a man who cannot accept losing and who has been surrounded by yes men and enablers so long he doesn’t remember (or maybe even know at all) what it’s like to not get his way. Regarding Biden, no he’s not going to automatically fix the ever growing divide between the right and left, but to me he brings a semblance of sanity back to the office. That’s all I want, someone who does the job and it’s for the people, ALL the people not their fanatical fan base, and not their ego, and who attempts to unite us more than divide us. Trump loved to play up the divide, to put the sides against eachother, it was like a game to him, really seemed to amuse himself with it. Yeah we are very divided because IMO both sides are going wayyyy too far off in their own wacky directions (yes I think the far right is as crazy as the far left) and neither is giving any ground, but it also didn’t help that Trump really played it up, seeing people go from just plain Republicans or conservatives to actual Trump cult worshipers has been incredibly disturbing, he’s just a dude that held the office for 4 years and some people legitimately treat him like a god.

Oh and an example of what I mean by both sides are crazy, this rep posted these tweets a day apart

Abortion is murder but actual murder qualifies you for congress? Ok.

Defending yourself isn't murder. Everything else you said about the voter fraud is circumstantial. Trump can contest and he is.

Yeah, this is exactly what I mean. Absolutely ridiculous. Everyone in Washington is plum loco.

Come on man, the side that loses always cries about voter fraud. it’s not a ploy it’s par for the course.

It's a broken system, and it's why so many don't care if they vote. It's all pretty much crap.
