Porty can make some noise in Free Agency. Whiteside and Hood are now unrestricted free agents

Damn them. Focus on Harden and leave the FAs alone.

If we can't get Gallo, giving Ibaka half the MLE is a deal i can get behind.

Again, it's Bucher so you can't treat it as gospel. But if that's true, for a team already going through the ringer, that's very bad news. Could also impact free agency for them.

That has to be $12-15 million per year for Ibaka. No way the guy takes $4-5 million per year.

As for Harden+Russ, I doubt the Republican support is why. Russ wanted to go to the Rockets even knowing Tilman supported Republicans.

That was before the toxicity of 2020. The media onslaught over this past year has pushed everyone further into their corners.

Hollinger believes Dunn and Crowder can be had for the MLE.

This interview is from months ago but Hood is extremely confident he will continue being in a Blazers uniform.

Reading other Blazer reporters sounds like he opted out so they could re sign him for $10mil/yr for multiple years. They really like him up in the Pacific Northwest

I would consider Crowder for no more than two years. As good as Dunn is defensively, we need a large wing more than a smaller guard. Schroder and Caruso have us covered in that department. Crowder could be the type of player that really excels with people like Lebron and AD around him. He can just do his thing.

Don't see Bron approving a Crowder reunion.

    Between this dig

And their interaction in the Finals

Bron doesn't forget things or slights from anyone.

Harden REALLY wants out. This is going to put BKN and HOU in a limbo and Houston dont have to trade him at all since they're in rebuild mode.

Hopefully that turns Free Agents away from BKN and sends them our way.

Yeah, Rock posted a follow up article. Seems he wants that a year, unfortunately. not over the course of the contract. That's just not happening on this marketplace unless he wants to go to a bottom feeder.

Harden is under contract for 3 more years. If he doesn’t have a no trade clause, they should send him wherever they want if he wants out, not to Brooklyn because that’s what he wants. This isn’t like AD who had one year left on his deal and said he’d only re-sign with a few teams, Harden is locked in and stuck wherever he goes. If he wants out I’m shopping him to every single team and taking the best deal I get, don’t care if it’s a team he doesn’t want, be careful what you ask for.

I just don't understand what Houston's motivation to trade him to the Nets would be. There are several teams that can provide a much more attractive package than the Nets. He's got two full seasons left on his deal. Houston needs to do what's best for Houston.

The Sixers could give them Simmons who is better than anything on the Nets roster combined other than Durant and Irving.

Pat Riley could step in and offer Bam and Hero which would be far better than what the Nets can offer. If Riles teamed up Harden and Butler, they are a legit threat to win it all.

What if the Warriors come in with Wiggins, Looney, the #2 pick along with a future first?

Would the Nuggets send Jamal Murray to pair Joker and Harden?
