    still don't see why houston obliges. harden's under contract for this year and the following year. and at that point, very few teams will be able to clear the 47 million dollars he's opting out of and still have a functional roster. they can call his bluff here if they want.

    i'm going to enjoy watching the houston fans who have propped him up so desperately (he's better than kobe!) react to this, though.

    I'm a Cleveland guy and this will be disappointing: just resign Dwight. Dwight even at this age is a better defender and can actually finish inside.
    So sick of watching Thompson get his inside crap blocked because he needs to gather and jump off 2 feet.

    Blah was really excited with the offseason so far between Schroeder, Matthews and this puts a damper on it

    @abeer3 RHJ interests me, too.

    But those shooting numbers...

    He's a heck of a defender, though.

    @JSM that isn't a bad list...

    i feel like if you grabbed RHJ and matthews both at minimum or near it, you've rounded out the rotation in a way that keeps you versatile. i'm assuming kcp is staying in this scenario. we'll need to figure something else out if he walks.

    in fact, i'm not sure we're in a position to let him walk, almost at any price. damn kcp always has us over a barrel.

    Good luck. Don't see it working out much past a first round exit

    cp3, booker, and ayton will get them into the playoffs but i'm surprised they dealt oubre. he's been great for them ever since he got there

    great pickup for OKC and they get yet another 1st round pick. really like what they're doing

    But they didn't feel that way with AD?

    :Dmcdisbelieveyou:
    Don't understand why they're so afraid to compete against Holiday.

    I like it for the league. That'll be a fun team to watch with that backcourt. Not really a legit threat to us, but should make a push for the playoffs and will be competitive. CP3 will probably need that excellent med staff they have there to keep playing at a high rate with all those youngsters.

    Dwight IS much stronger inside than TT, but Thompson can actually shoot a midrange jumper and legit space the floor a bit for LeBron and AD. Plus he can play in crunch time and make a FT. My dream pair at this point is Ibaka / Thompson next to AD.

    You have to match salaries. No way Suns get the trade if they don't add Oubre's salary unless they trade Ayton or Booker and that's out of question.

    I see what OKC is doing here. Good for them!

    Harden should go to Philly.

    yeah i can't see them making it past round 1 but for a franchise that hasn't made the playoffs in a decade, i think they'll be happy just getting in

    the pacific is going to be pretty insane next season with the lakers, clippers, warriors, and suns all playing winning ball. and then there's the kings

    Poor Ricky. He does well for his team, then gets traded. Every. Single. Time.
