Trump will run again in 2024. But it will be Ivanka. If she can convince everyone that she's like her dad policy wise, but not the a-hole her father is and a more polished person, she could win. Mainstream media would have to be more delicate in their all out assault on her because she's a woman.

I've seen some very racist things Biden said in the past, so I found some of his comments during this run pretty comical. The "You ain't black" one specifically.

I hope to see good things from him, but nobody seems to be able to say what he's good at besides sniffing little girls hair and making young women uncomfortable. Any lifelong politician must have done something right. I just don't have any clue what it is.

Sure he’s a creep and says racist things, but I like his policies. His policies benefit me and I think he can control the radical right fascists that are ruining our country.

    See? Works both ways.

I’m sarcastically citing the same justifications the right uses for supporting Trump.

What policies does Trump have that makes you support him in spite of his own history of being creepy/abusive to women and saying racist things? What evidence is there that the “radical left socialists” are ruining our country?

To give you a serious answer, Biden has put up a detailed transition program dealing with a variety of topics. It is refreshing to see a meticulous science-based plan to deal with the pandemic. There are talks about him using executive order to forgive college loan debt. While he walked it back during the general, I think the Biden/Harris ticket is much more likely to nationally legalize marijuana. He does not deny climate change and will get us pack in the Paris agreement and put forward plans to transition to clean energy.

These are all important policies that IMO benefit myself and the long-term environmental and economic health of our country.

Don’t like Biden, but he’s at least doing the bare minimum here. Really not productive to continue this discussion though.

The reality is, the main reason most people voted for Biden is “because he’s not Trump”. IMO, that is a sufficient reason, and it’s mind boggling why your side (who claims to be independent and not full out Trump supporters) does NOT think that is a good enough reason.

I don’t have to worry about waking up to Trump high on Sudafed and tweeting out a hostile threat to a foreign nation while he’s taking a s*** at 3 in the morning. That’s not enough?

I hear where you are coming from, but at the crux of the issue are the facts we all want the same thing. Peace and prosperity.

We have major differences of opinions on how to achieve that, so as much as Trump was an arse, his methods of accomplishing peace and prosperity align historically with what is successful, while Biden’s and the Lefts agenda pushes the country closer to financial ruin and Socialism.

So yes, you’ll get very strong opinions on the matter, and it has less to do with Trump than what’s best for the country. I don’t expect you to see that since you obviously hold a different view on the best way to accomplish peace and prosperity. Hopefully Biden is the best President ever, but no, not being Trump wasn’t enough to make me think Biden was a good candidate. He’s not.

He’s a more likable human being, but will he stand up to China? Will he be a strong leader and do what is needed?

in some ways, as disagreeable as Trump was, you knew certain things were being handled including putting our country’s interests first. That’s a big deal for people tired of us taking care of everyone but our own.

if Trump stalls this transition process without proof of a rigged election, this just isn’t good for anyone. If he had proof, he needed to have presented it by now vs have complaints thrown out of court. This doesn’t benefit anybody at all.

You already know the answer to this. China has him in their hip pocket.

    Absofreakinglutely!

He did the same thing when he said Obama was spying on his election team. Everyone on the Left laughed. Sounded ridiculous. Then we found out he was right.

I agree with Sirron when he said we all want the same thing, we just disagree on how to get there.

Here are some of the main things both sides disagree on...

    1) Foreign policy
    2) Taxes
    3) Government involvement
    4) Economics
    5) The environment
    6) Gun control
    7) Healthcare
    8) Immigration

People are always gonna disagree on these topics. As a libertarian that leans right, I do find myself agreeing with some of the conservative policies, however both sides get it wrong when it comes to free trade imo. There should be some hybrid of healthcare that allows for both privatized and free healthcare for those who need it. I don’t like high taxes and being in pointless regime change wars. I don’t like us policing the world or giving unnecessary aid to foreign countries. I think decriminalizing drugs will actually help against the “drug war”. What I don’t like is when Liberals or Conservatives ridicule and/or belittle the other side for having a different opinion. It becomes hypocritical at a point and neither side has any ground to stand on. Conservative and Liberal media both fear monger and lie about the other side. Socialism is overhyped and fascism and racism is overhyped. Neither side has evidence of their argument.

Trump got my vote because I agreed with him on some of these policies. I couldn’t careless if he’s a jerk or creepy or whatever as long as I feel like they’ll get done. I’d say the same about Biden. I didn’t agree with Trump on everything, but it was enough for me.

I wonder if the history books will be kind to The Donald

he's given them so much material to mock him. It's pretty incredible it all happened in 4 years, but dealing with the far left and their non acceptance of losing to him, the dirty tactics, the left owned media.... might have been enough to make anyone snap.

And I think he actually believes he won. I Don't think he can conceive to actually losing to Joe Biden, the "worst candidate in the history of politics" lol

Please fast forward to 2021 so we know how all this plays out, and please avoid bloodshed in the meanwhile.
