As amazing as having Giannis would be, this is actually the bigger point. Can you imagine if he went to Dallas to team up with Luka and (occasionally) Zinger? Having him here means we're not having to deal with him for the next 5-7 years of AD's prime in another uniform while our second banana (after Lebron) is likely not going to be anywhere close to Kuka.

And I saw I misspelled Luka, but I kind of like Kuka. (I hope it's not a swear word in another language.)

No, kuka or kljuka means “hook” in south Slavic languages. Luka “the Hook” Doncic. However, the "u" in Luka is long, and the "u" in "kuka" is short (it rhymes with "hooka" :) ).

would you guys be down to trade 28th/cook for Hart back? I think Hart is seasoned enough now to be a big contributor to a winning culture, he was shooting nearly 40% from 3s to start the season till he got hit by injuries....yes I know he threw some shades at us after getting traded but to me that shows he cared and wanted to be here lol, Hart would be a solid replacement if KCP goes somewhere else

Whatever minutes you envision Hart getting, should go to AC.

So...no. I would rather draft an athletic SG/SF combo. Or a PG.

What he said. More help on the wing instead of Green if possible and a play-maker who can score when necessary (or is simply a good shooter). We have everything else we need. I don't think KCP is going anywhere.

Rondo will stay. We are his best path to coaching.

hes not opting out for another 1 yr deal, being to opptmistic here n kcp didn't opt out for 1 yr deal either even if its an overpay, wouldnt surprise me if atl came with a 3yr 60M deal for him, they need a vet with winning experience, if bum a** 30 something green got 15m a yr, you think kcp cant parlay his chip xp into a big deal like that?

Some league buzz that gives you an idea of what these teams are thinking this off season

Knicks are desperate for any influx of talent, especially with what they've done across the bridge. I'm not even sure if they can get an asset by taking a bad contract, as well. I think they'll have to take on a talent that has a bad contract (CP3, Horford).

Cuban's hunting. But since he wants the Giannis, I assume that means he's only looking at expirings. Could see him taking a gamble on Dipo.

Wonder if they try to sign him out right.

They should use that pick and cap space in a trade to eat a big contract. The Joe Harris and KCPs of the world won't get them over the hump. And I don't know if Harris is the right fit for them. They have one of the best shooters in the game, but he's awful defensively, they need to cover for him defensively. KCP would be a better fit if that's the route they're taking this off season.
