Another perfect video by LD2k. "And greatness is not what you think" with the Caruso clip was just one of the many great moments in it, just fantastic, thanks for sharing

OMG that's awesome!! Don't know how he does the rights to the music that's not easy on Youtube unless you find the performers are amenable to putting commercials up on your clip. That's not free music and clips like this you can watch over and over because of the images and music working so toe tappingly wonderfully. And the spoken overlays. Well done. LOVED the quick shot of beautiful Jeanie victorious at the end and then the PERFECT closing smack at the Clippers.

Shameless name dropper that I am ..... a couple of times LD2K and I PM'd about something video back in the day at ClubLakers when he was just starting to make these productions.

By the numbers, the Lakers had the easiest path to a title in 30-plus years the numbers, the Lakers had the easiest path to a title in 30-plus years..

Easiest path, by the numbers, are the 2017 GS Warriors. They went 16-1. Same with the 2001 LA Lakers and 1983 Philadelphia 76ers.

Everyone can suck a big 17 burger!

easiest path because the paper champions kept losing to teams that thoroughly outplayed them...and then got thoroughly outplayed by the lakers?

weak sauce. the weakest of sauces.

LOL - yeah we avoided the bucks and clippers because they couldn't get the job DONE.

We took care of business - they didn't. Plain and simple.

I hope we get both those teams next year to shut everybody up AGAIN.

It's one thing for people to say we avoided them...

But then the same people say the Clippers and Bucks need to make moves to win.

How does that make sense? So the Lakers were lucky to avoid them but they now need to change things up to beat the Lakers?

All the people saying this are forgetting how we dismantled both MIL & LAC right before the break in the Season.

Lakers were 3-0 the last time 3 games against the Clippers and Bucks. I don't understand why anyone would think they wouldn't have waxed both even if they faced the Lakers.

I don't mind haters. Kinda used to them as a Laker Fan, but the kind of b.s. being thrown around is laughable.

"Lebron had 5 Months off so he was healthy for the Playoffs" = Every Player had 5 Months off fool.
"Lakers avoided MIL & LAC" = They lost to the Teams that we beat. That's how the Playoffs work.
"Lebron can't win without another Superstar" = No one can. That's why we traded our youth for AD.
"Miami was Injured" = Half the Championships in NBA History were affected by injuries in some way.

    Now let's flip the script..
    - Season was stopped right as Lakers were playing at their peak.
    - Lakers best perimeter Defender & starting 2 Guard opted out of the Bubble.
    - Lakers #1 seed was meaningless due to no HCA in the Bubble.
    - Since Lakers are West Coast, most of their Games were going past Midnight EST.
    - Every other Day Schedule is brutal on a Team with more Veteran Players.
    - MIA got an extra 3 Days rest in the middle of the ECF due to scheduling...
    - WE still kicked their A$$

**Maybe this belongs in WMC, but it's Optimism to me. This mantra that the Lakers had it easy is a joke.

Don't forget.... the narrative that we had all the pressure on us to win this year because of the tragic events on 26 January (RIP Kobe, Gigi and all other passengers).

Now people are starting the "they were always going to win it for Kobe Bryant.. it was meant to be".

Who remembers the media after Portland won game 1? All the crap about how they were going to shoot us out of the building, and that we should have got Melo instead etc.

Im so tired of all the we dodged the Clippers/bucks bs. We would have beaten them either way, I'm 100% certain. I just wished they didnt't choke so we could have waxed them too and put an end to the excuses.

I am glad they both choked. The Flippers are just a 1st or 2nd round team, and the status quo remains.

Giannis losing is not exactly something I cheer for, but at least it means he might have to bring his talents to LA instead :p

Wasn’t quite sure where to put this, but I thought it was a good read on the identity of this team, and why stuff like “street lights over spotlights” was such an idiotic slight
