Much more worried about losing him than Kidd.

Hopefully he doesn't bolt for the Nets and bets on our odds for hardware over theirs.

Sweet talk him Jeanie, LeBron, AD and Rob. Pay him what it takes.

Hope it’s not true what Dorian somebody says in a tweet below that he only likes to coach in one spot for a year.

He's one of the best player development coaches in the league but if he goes, we have Jared Dudley who can take his spot.

Nets don't need Handy as part of the staff. Irving is also an assistant coach, equipment manager and other stuff.

What's the point? I am not sure they need a development coach. One day may be Kyrie is the development coach. Another day KD is.

    Couple of things.

    1. I think it's imperative we keep Phil Handy. He's a developmental coach and because we're going to probably have so few picks and young players going forward, we need to maximize the potential of each of them. We don't have time to waste hoping they develop. We need to see them maximize their potential early so we know what we have.

    2. I want him to develop THT and Cacok and Kostas. I want to see if any of them have the potential to be another diamond in the ruff. Especially THT.

    3. I remember Pete Zeas saying before he came, coaches would basically just let players do what they liked on the court instead of stopping and correcting them when the motion wasn't right or wasn't tight enough. Phil actually shows them what he wants them to do , gets out on the court and guards them to make sure they're doing it right. I love his hands on approach. That's the type of mentality we need from the coaches. Someone that will tell you, you're doing it wrong, and show you here's how you need to do it.

I would be extremely disappointed if we lost Handy. I want him to be a Laker into his retirement.
