Spo f***ed up by putting Butler back out there. I'm sure he was begging to get back in, but the fact that he went back in and tweaked the ankle even more... not a good call.

If he's banged up, Bam or Dragic are less than 100% (one unconfirmed terror said Dragic was done for the series), this is a brutal sweep. I want them all at full health. I don't want anyone to have an excuse to try to put an asterisk by this one.

Oh... he was doing it through the game.

Lakers were up by almost 30... and there was b****ing.

The injuries are unfortunate but I don't think it would have changed much. The Lakers are simply better. Taller, more athletic, veteran squad, better defense, and the better star players by far. Bam dominated the C Bags who really didn't have any center in their rotation worth mentioning. Against AD, he will be forgotten. One shoulder bump from Dwight and I can bet you that Bam would think twice about challenging Dwight again. Lakers in five.

45 point turn around, at one point.

If there was ANY point to b**** about... it was the first 6 minutes.

After that... this game was OVER.

I haven't been bored like that during a Finals game since 2002.

Van Gundy talked of Riley giving a Memorial Day Massacre speech to Miami after tonight. My eyes rolled back so much I saw my brain (classic @Weezy). Good story except Riley does not have Abdul-Jabbar, Johnson, Worthy and Scott to motivate.

Come on now...! Reaching for straws to make the broadcast more interesting as it is.

I do too but see 1983 and 1989. Screw 'em! Put them out their misery early then...

You know what needs to happen in on Friday... they will come out with great energy, playing their hearts out and hustling. We need to respond and crush them by double digits. That should put a stop on their resistance early. We can do that. Bron needs to be very vocal about this.

I also hope their players are okay and we can take them down at full strength.

But the haters are going to come with the asterisk talk no matter what. Literally saw an article on NBC Sports titled “Lakers have historically easy path to championship*” ... BEFORE we even played.

Same haters that probably were saying “well actually this is probably the most difficult championship given the circumstances” when their teams were still in.

So I’m already preparing to filter out all that BS talk. I want them healthy, but if they do unfortunately have key players sit out and we go on to steamroll em, I’m still going to be just as happy.

There is truth to this statement. That is one of the reasons I bailed out on that site. The constant Lakers bashing over there, not giving our team a chance to rebuild when Jimmy screwed us to death. If you look at the moves Jeannie has made since then, it is amazing what a quick turn around we have made.

David Stern destroyed the Lakers. Jimmy couldn't control the ship from it and just wasn't capable.
