I am waiting for Stephen A Smith to say "this brother is special, SPECIAL... I am absolutely positively sure that the Lakers will win this series in 7.... how the hell you going to sit up there now, Max, and say LeBron James is the King again... (attach something) is straight up blasphemous".

Beating Riley would be just as gratifying even if he had ties with us before. Run them off the three point line, funnel them to our bigs and decimate them on the boards.

Make Riley prophetic: No rebounds...no rings.

I feel this is personal between Bron and Riley. The problem for Riley is, he cannot do anything more (but watch)... Bron can go out there and get it done.

Riley got Shakespearean saying James leaving Miami for Cleveland will be his career Scarlet Letter on going back. Don't know if they have made amends.

We have the two best players so that's an advantage. I never underestimated a Finals opponent again after that debacle in 04 having the best two players. Refs, injuries, coaching factors every time.

That Lakers team was in civil war. This Lakers team is about as close as a competitive basketball team can be.

    I think it'll be a pretty good matchup. But again, I like our chances . . . a lot.

There will be a Rondo - Dragic fight. Book it.

this worries me, too. i know we've solved these here and there, but this is where AD's difficulties as a passer and our team's general inability to shoot can be dangerous.

we're not playing that miami team. i don't know who these guys are, but i picked against them in the last two rounds because i thought they were that team.

yep. green especially needs to earn his cash this series. make life difficult for their guards on defense, knock down the shots they're going to give you.

you can't zone milwaukee because they have 3-4 very good shooters on the floor at all times. but it's essentially the same philosophy. a 2-3 packs the paint just like a "wall" scheme or whatever.

i thought the lakers should have outrebounded denver by more. let's hope they fix that here.

tempted to say lakers in 6.

in truth, i would say the lakers have already beaten at least one team better than miami (denver), so i'm optimistic about our chances. that said, miami keeps embarrassing me. let's hope it ends here. would be pretty terrible to get all the way to the finals and lose to a team that you clearly outman.

Danny, KCP, Kuz, and Caruso will need to hit open shots. Morris will be needed this series. No reason to double any of their players. Not like Dame. Harden. Or Murray. So STAY on the shooters. Feed them to the bigs. And don’t LO!!!! (Foul 3 point shooters).

We need to be careful. Don't take them lightly.

As a wise man once said: "If Tyler Herro keeps being on fire with Jimmy Butler being clutch, Goran Dragic with his magic, Bam Adebayo doing everything he can for the team and Erik Spoelstra having championship experience as a coach, I can easily see the Lakers in 6."
