Injuries, covid, brain farts, luck etc. I rather not give C Bags a chance to go up 2 on us. Simple.

People who are always worried are the ones who work their whole lives for corporate slugs, blame rich people for making bad choices and then die broke. Stop worrying. Life is too short.

But sooooo much more satisfying to beat the CBags though.

If that were to happen, Lakers would be 4 out of 5 the last 5 finals against them too. Returning that favor slowly from the first 8 finals losses.

I think we match up better with Miami. We have looked really good against them and though their team has grown I do not discount that our progress has been as much if not more.

Miami tends to run dry which is why they have struggled to close series or games despite leads. You could say we are the more moist team when the pressure is on to harken back to our game thread discussion.

While beating Boston would be amazing, I feel Boston seems to get hot against us, and always seem to have a handful of players catch fire against us. I mean we have been playing the league while spotting them a Danny Green as a starter (just kidding damn it Danny Green, hit those five threes in a game and I will eat a Brandon Lee amount of Crow) so why make things that much harder for us.

I respect both potential teams but see Miami as the team to face, it would be good for LBJ to smack Riley's team too.

Big stakes. it's what the Lakers is about.

the heat have butler+bam+and a bunch of 3 pt shooters. i feel like the lakers matchup better with the heat because they've already played a team that did nothing but chuck 3s. and i think AD can contain bam

boston scares me because tatum can get hot at any second, and this team has always struggled against smaller guards, which the C Bags have two good ones in walker and smart

Walker and Smart are 6 feet tall. Lakers would destroy those two.

It'll be like that Hulk Hogan celebration episode on WWE where they threw in Ric Flair to lose in 90 seconds just for kicks.

Ummm means a LOT when we have been out of the playoffs for most of the freaking decade. Smell the roses for crissakes. Sure the job’s not done yet but going wire to wire in first all season and 3 straight 4-1 series wins to be back in the NBA Finals is AWESOME!!

That’s what I’m talking about .... enjoy the journey now that we have a top tier team again. Have enjoyed this season so much to date and so many highlights and things to be happy about going forward. Of course we have to finish it now but agree with others Denver a better team than C Bags or Heat.

Miami really depends on Dragic to create offense for them. Surprised why he's not being talked about compared to Hero, Bam, etc. because while Butler has had some nice 4th quarter for the most part when they're stuck they'll go with Dragic iso or PnR. Feel the Lakers know how to handle that after playing Portland and Denver

Plus AD has dominated Bam. The Lakers shouldn't have much trouble with the zone as they can just put AD at the foul line and let him shoot over everybody from mid range. AD with open mid range shots is not a recipe I want to give up as a defense.

Lakers have a lot more to throw at Bam between AD and Dwight then Boston. Boston is putting Grant Williams and going really small. Lakers can go big and still be able to rotate to shooters

Miami is going to go packed in paint with less zone based on what the Lakers struggle with. That being said I just don't see mismatches that Vogel is going to be worried about in terms of defense.
