Delon Wright looks like a stud. Would love to grab him and Upshaw.

    Good analysis.

Yes, I did put a couple of posts on his struggles being overblown and I agree that he gets in trouble when he tries to do too much. I think some of that was due to the lack of talent on the team, but its still a good point.

He strikes me as a guy who is coachable though. Having Nash mentor him would be great.

I would be stunned if we actually took him, but I think he's going to be a very good player.

I'm not sure Upshaw qualifies as a sleeper. No one is sleeping on him; if anything he's under one of the brightest scopes in this draft. If he shines in an interview he can move into the lottery. If he tanks all his interviews he could land in the 2nd round.

Harvey is definitely a sleeper. Wright is a sleeper. De Paula isn't really a sleeper, I think it's just a debate about how long you wait to take him.

At first I didn't think anyone would take a gamble on Upshaw in the first round, but I'm starting to think it might happen.

I think Dallas might chance on Upshaw with Chandler possibly on the move and no guarantee of Deandre coming.

Chad Ford has us taking either Joseph Young or Terry Rozier with the 27 pick (Anderson, Wright, and a couple other names discussed here were all gone).

That sucks. I'd avoid Upshaw, Christmas, and all the PF's Centers, IMO. I'd target Tyus Jones, Justin Anderson, Anthony Brown and RJ Hunter. Shooters, swingmen, forwards, defenders. We already have a crowded frontcourt. We need to balance this roster.

Young is a scorer and a solid three point shooter (I think lol). I wouldn't take him at 27 though. Rozier was solid but not spectacular anytime I have saw him. I'd definitely take Jones over either of them.

I like Anderson a lot, but I'm feeling like he will be gone before we pick. We will have to make some kind of deal to get him. Same with RJ. Brown should be there with either the 27 or 34th pick though.

Yeah, Brown's a very good shooter. Good measurables'; I'd take a shot at him with the 34th pick. Spacing is so needed in today's league. He could provide that for us. I'd really like to see a small forward drop with that 27th pick.

First option is combining both picks and potentially seeing if we could move up to gran an Anderson or Hollis-Jefferson. If you're really high on Brown in the 2nd round, buy a pick, and grab him.

After hearing Dakari Johnson's interview, I'd be happy picking him at #34 if he's available. He seems like a smart kid.

He compared himself to Robin Lopez which means he sees himself as a hard worker, a competitor, but a guy who knows his role. I like that.

DE has us taking Rakeem Christmas with the 2nd pick and I'm alright with that too. He interviewed well with the media.

I'm hoping a small forward drops as well. I think someone will end up getting lost in the shuffle, its just a question of who. If we could walk off with Okafor and Anderson I would be extremely happy.

I'm in favor of Dakari. Cut Sacre; Plus, I think Dakari has more upside than Sacre.

Chad Ford - the guy who edited his past drafts to make himself look better and got caught.

I'm good with either of those guys at 34 especially if we have already grabbed a SF.

I really like Rob, but if we can get a kid for the approximate same function at half the price I'm gonna do it. I know there's some incentive programs though that the NBA encourages (like his contract would only count for half on the cap or something).
