We led the whole game , Denver was never able to take the lead in the 4th .

It's supposed to be hard , it's the WCF ...

The actual series has just begun, the Lakers have unlocked the 3-1 Final Boss level.

this is what i was asking for pre-game. jokic can get in foul trouble; feel like it happens a lot. if he doesn't have fouls, you're not challenging him enough on offense. make that guy move.

he went 7th in one of our #2 overall pick years. and honestly, he's playing the best ball of his life right now by a good sight. shooting nearly 50% from three in the playoffs, mostly on pull-ups. he's been a meh three point shooter on those up until like, a month ago.

also, we aren't equipped to go after his relatively weak pg skills, particularly without bradley to make him work to get into sets, etc. we also can't make him work defensively because alex caruso is our best guard.

so, yeah, he's going to go off. key is to keep everyone else in check.

They have us, just where they wanted. Let's see what both teams are made of.

Nah , they got destroyed during 4 games and 4.5 games by Jazz and Clips whereas this is a close series since Game 2.

    Completely different scenario .

We really need to close them out tomorrow, or else the narrative will be the Nuggets are coming back. I mean the media is already talking about it because of the 3-1 lead we have.

Start Dwight again, crash the boards, limit turnovers, and wear the black mamba jerseys.

    Also, hopefully, Kuz shows up.

Stressful a** game man...but glad we pulled it out. Give credit to our guys - this was an EFFORT win. We crushed them on offensive boards and 2nd chance points - that happens from EFFORT and I can't applaud our team enough on that.

Game 5 - we need to treat this as must win as the pressure is squarely on us to win this game. Denver is right in their comfort zone - no pressure, been down 3-1 in 2 series arleady, and theyve already exceeded expectations by just being in the WCF. They are totally playing into the "underdog" image and the media is also playing into it - we have to make sure we crush any idea of them coming back from down 3-1 by winning game 5 and closing it out.

I feel a classic LeBron close-out game coming because he's honestly not been himself this whole series. BUT - he did take on the chlalenge of guarding murray down the stretch, which i LOVED, and he did a damn good job too. If LeBron wants to win this series playing defense, I got no problem with that

Also HUGE Props to DWIGHT. He took jokic out of his game completely - and I believe we'll stick with Howard throughout the playoffs now. McGee just isn't himself and I think at this point rotation is Dwight AD Kieff (who also did an amazing job on Jokic)

yes, malone is correct: they need the refs to really tilt it for them to have a chance. go through the channels to ensure that this right is wronged.

between sobs, bill o'simmons reminded us that nobody in the bubble is doing this sort of thing, and that it's a shame that classy competitors like jamal murray have to deal with such rapscallionry.

I've been watching NBA basketball for 30+ years, I've noticed zero drop off in quality of play in this playoffs. I believe the non-travel has given the players better turn around time to give the best quality possible on the court.

Yes but it’s the Lakers, so yadda yadda yadda, unfair Lakers get all the calls.

You guys really need to stop watching sports shows. They are no different than news channels now. Sensationalism and b*******.

Lakers are a missed KCP 3 from sweeping this "dangerous" team.

Lakers have shown zero sign that they aren't winning this series.

Well, I would say regardless you don't want to give a desperate team any confidence.

Nuggets can have all the confidence in the world. They are an inferior team to the Lakers.
