watching now. miami is so disciplined on both ends. they rely way too much on an old dragic for my taste, but man...1 turnover in the second half. just picking apart the zone (both teams are, really--this is what good coaching can do).

lol spoke too soon--dumb turnover with 30 seconds to go to keep the door open for boston.

    still, though...

be curious to see if either team can handle either of the west teams, though. skilled bigs can really punish these tiny lineups, and while miami does play adebayo a lot (who's at least sorta big), boston rolls with a houstonian five-small lineup a lot. who's center there, hayward? dragic got to basically post up and spin in the paint. that won't happen against la or denver. third row if not caught.

I personally believe the Lakers and Nuggets are superior to the C Bags and Miami. But every interview I have heard from Jimmy Butler, in the Bubble, gives the impression of a Miami team locked in on winning a championship. Point being, they aren't going to be easy as their attitude is as good as ours (and unlike the Flippers).

While I still like our chances to beat the Nuggets and then the winner of the East, I think I would be even more surprised if Denver got through Utah, the Flippers and then us, only to then lose to the winner of the East. If the Nuggets make it, they would have an extreme amount of self belief.

That moment I realized that not only is better basketball analysis content on youtube it is also produced with passion and without some manipulative agenda to create controversy and play devils advocate to get hits.

The footage is less rushed and is less about the personality/celebrity sportscasters. I really feel ESPN has fallen off a cliff to the extent I ignore a lot of there schtick, and sensationalism. I still enjoy Ernie, kenny etc as entertainment, but I really question who this product is aimed at. All this hottake s***, I am not digging. The commentary on high level playoff games has been lazy, repetitive and features obvious product placement, redundant pop culture references and banal banter. I mean the commentary has the engagement on the game of a celebrity all star game. If the commentary team can't give a s*** about the game why should we. I muted the commentary during the last game (sure we weren't playing well) but I would never do that before.

Is it just me or have I been missing something for awhile. And what was with the Rockets stinking up the court last series and the crew getting carpal tunnel syndrome of the tongue shoving it where the Phoenix Suns don't shine of Harden and D'Antoni??????????????????

Just realized what this whole bubble scenario reminds me off SECRET WARS. One of the most important early(ish) mega crossover titles from Marvel. Heroes and Villains taken from the Earth and isolated within some bizarre world that is a composite of the weird and familiar to do battle and triumph for ultimate rewards or to vanish in imperiled melees and skirmishes.

Herro don't give AF.. Love the way this Heat Team plays. Would definitely be a tough matchup if we see them in the Finals.

yeah. in fairness, he was a one-and-done lottery pick from a major program, though. kuz was the 27th pick after 4 years at utah. iow: i'd say expectations should have been higher for herro. kuz had a stronger rookie year, almost any way you slice it. his advanced numbers were better, too.

now, would i trade kuz for herro? yes. i think he's got a little more room to grow, and kuz had his worst year in his third year, which is troubling.

but i think people forget quickly how strong kuz was his first two years. and i also think the situation this year was tough for him.

Lakers are a bad match up for the Heat. Similar to the Nuggets. Nuggets and Heat are almost identical teams minus Jokic for Miami.

Reality is if it is the Lakers vs Heat Final, the series will end in 4 or 5 games.

I think the Heat are a hard-nosed little group of scrappers, but it's apples to oranges. The West is SO much better than the East it's laughable. The E-League is a small step above the G-League.

God I hope this post doesn't come back to haunt me.

both teams are tough matchups for the lakers, but i think the C Bags are the tougher one

they're a better defensive team than miami, plus guys like walker and smart would give them fits
