Do you remember Beverley sledging Steph Curry about how the past 5 years was his (Stephs), and how the next five are his (Beverley). I probably would have asked to see his licence and registration because who the hell are you but some basketball journey man lol

I am really looking forward to today's game. Sure a championship is always the Lakers ambition, and we are title or bust. But it's so damn good to be back in the WCF.

I’m not watching any media on this tonight or tomorrow, gonna be all about how the Nuggets got screwed because Jokic and Murray were in foul trouble. Fantastic win though, we finally took a game 1, we got everything we wanted, and the defense absolutely clamped down in key points.

Methodical...systematic. Denver kept up through the first until we stepped on the accelerator. We did not flinch...

This is how Denver likes to play. Almost buried and then they break out for vengeance. The sad thing is we hold all the Hanzo swords and we ain't sharing. It only takes four nails to seal Denver's fate and we just put one in the pine box that is elimination. The fact is we all know Kill Bill only had two parts so this ain't happening. Feeling confident but not arrogant about our showing today.

Game 2 crucial but I feel we'll be focused. They served notice against Utah and The Other L.A. Team. Here's to hoping we don't do them.

Bron is being a (media) puppet master right now. Mind f*cking the media talking about the MVP award, most improved, defence player of the year etc. He's just taking their focus off his team mates.

I really like Jokic and Murray but I don't see them winning more than a game and only because the Lakers tend to get lazy during stretches of the game. Jokic dominated the first two series but he didn't have to play any defense. You don't really have to defend Gobert because they don't draw any plays for him and Zubac was a non-factor. AD will force Jokic and Milsap to play defense and Dwight's physicality will wear Jokic down. Thanks for whooping the Clippers but now it's your turn, Nuggets.

I like the Nuggets. They're fun and it was entertaining watching them come back v. Utah and then wiping out the Slippers. But I'd like to see this end quickly. No mercy. Take them out. There's no reason to prolong this.

We have the size and length to contest Jokic who can facilitate from the five. We the switch ability to stay with Murray to slow his scoring. The key has been keeping the lid on their supporting cast. The two main Nuggs will get theirs. Shutting off the others is important.

Did we suddenly become the Showtime Lakers? I saw several no cheer offense in this game.

Lebron had a C+/B- game and he never felt the need to flip the switch. We coasted past the Nuggets without even flexing.

Honestly we're just so much better than everyone else. I haven't felt this way about the Lakers (against the competition) since the Kobe/Shaq days.

The nicest thing about this scenario is that it would let the Slippers realize that we would have slaughtered them too.
