He came in late to the restart's "training camp", I'm gonna give him another game or two before judgment.
Since we wrapped up the one seed in the West with the win over Utah, I'm looking for Lebron and AD's minutes to go down severely. There's not much since in risking playing them big minutes. That should mean more time for guys like Morris subbing in for Lebron, Quinn Cook, JR Smith and Waiters. Might as well get them some burn before the playoffs.
How many times have we said this? Dwight should play over MCG, when Davis is on the floor. When going small, you do Kieff+AD or Kuz+AD. Green should not see minutes. Replace him with Dion, who would do better in his sleep. If KCP goes 0-3 early and we're down, sit him, at least until we have a comfortable lead. Can't let him miss 5-10 open shots and do nothing about it. Man, I can't wait for Rondo to come back. Can't believe I'm saying this.
Provided good minutes last night. Physical presence on the floor, did the dirty work and even hit on a three ball. Will need him down the line as a resident enforcer who can score a bit.
NBA JAM mode. Got some great looks courtesy of Rondo. Gave some good effort under the rim rebounding the ball. He has a great opportunity out there this series with Houston's gimmick ball.
In celebration of a stellar effort. I pronounce today Morris Day. And furthermore to celebrate Markieff Morris a little Morris Day and the Time from the wayback.
Good chemistry with Rondo. He should play more at the 4 or 5, with Bron... that seems to work. Him and Kuz can stretch the floor some.
I had a feeling Morris will be a key going forward given he can play these type of position-less games. He is our counter to players like Tucker. He can score just like his twin but does not have as much opps.
Yeah, I was listening to LFR; they suggested the Morris/Dwight combination may not work due to how fast Houston plays; but, we may have found something with the combination we had out there last night...
I actually think the third lineup is the best 5 man group for the Lakers; best combination of spacing with elite defense
you have a PF who can guard and shoot the 3. That's a recipe for disaster for the opponent playing against AD and Lebron already.
