If we tie the evil empire for championships this year, I'll dance all over the asterisks.

playoff standings were more or less set -- i don't think playing out the remainder of the regular season would have changed much at all -- and if anything, having a shorter regular season provided an opportunity for players to nurse their injuries/old bodies, so, in theory, we should be seeing higher quality basketball... to that end, the only asterisk required here is to denote that the playoffs took place on a neutral site; thus, the eventual champions will have done so without home court advantage, which should count for something, especially for a team like us that worked so hard during the regular season to attain it.

you should be used to this by now. i leave out entire words half the time.

i'm on team "asterisk", but i agree that teams that fought for HCA really got robbed. you think milwaukee drops the first two if they're in milwaukee? you think this doesn't potentially change the title picture this year. you think houston would have had their top 7 guys fully healthy without a 3-month break from dantoni's totally insane concept of minute-management? you think that doesn't impact what's happening?

it's a weird situation, and there's a good chance we end up with a weird outcome due to it.

Judging by the first half, the Nuggets are going to get crushed.

Not enough shot-makers for Denver. The Other L.A. team are stacked at the wings and backcourt. The middle is their soft spot. Zubac is serviceable enough to contribute doing the dirty work and be a deterrent at the rim.

If we get past Houston, we'll be decided underdogs against them. The expected narrative and I like us in it...

NOT SURE IF I MENTIONED IT YET BUT I WANTED THE DENVER/UTAH WINNER.

ugh. we'd have spanked either team, imo. we got our worst possible matchups in round 1 and 2. let's hope round 2 goes as well as the first (not confident).

and i agree that i like our chances as an underdog against the clippers. if we get there, everybody will pick them. that won't bother kawhi; he just goes to work. but doc and the rest...they get tight.

I agree with the Bucks thing , Miami being a bad road team , the bubble set up is a clear advantage for them .

As for Houston , Harden is going to choke no matter where he plays , home , away , in the bubble , it doesn't matter

The Bucks are done. They might get swept.

    Giannis is gone.
