I'll take Anderson on our roster if he makes the team. Works for me...

I definitely trade our 27th & 34th pick for a chance to move up a little more to select Justin Anderson. Dude is exactly the type of player we need. Watching his interview after the workout the man knows what he's great at and was composed with all his answers. Reminded me a lot of the kind of communication that Julius displayed last year in the interviews.

Yeah I just watched all the videos and he definitely stood out. He's been on my radar and he's even more so now.

The unique position we're in is we'll in a place where most free agents will handle most of the main responsibilities, so all a guy like Anderson needs to do on offense is knock down open looks, straight line drive against a closeout, and have a good sense for when to swing the ball to the next guy w/speed and accuracy. That's it. Basically, 2009 Trevor Ariza.

Yeah. Several guys I pegged early on as potential picks are going up draft boards. But on the flip side, that could also mean that other guys we didn't think we would have a shot at could be dropping.

Don't know a lot about him, but the little I have read and seen looks promising.

Shot chart is ridiculous. He had hip surgery of some kind; could be concerning. You could never have enough shooting. I think his measurement with shoes on was 6-5 1/2 with 6-11 wingspan. I could be mistaken.

At the gym yesterday to watch the youngsters/get work in: Ryan Kelly, Jordan Clarkson, Julius Randle, Wayne Ellington, and Kobe Bryant. Fantastic.

I love the young group we've got cooking right now. They might not be great tomorrow, but there's something about them that really intrigues me. They've got great talent, but an even greater work ethic. They're a couple of young Kobes.

Anthony Brown's decent off the dribble game surprised me. And his agility, he moves very well. The hip surgery is very concerning tho. Without that he's really good value at 34. 44% from 3, good defender w good instincts and length, decent off the dribble game. Very nice

And by decent off the dribble I mean halfway decent. Attack a closeout consistently, a crossover here or there, can take a big to the hoop on a switch. Can shoot off the dribble.

Just from what I seen the other day, Elgin. Concerning Brown.

Which I think he can excel at. The nice thing is in his interview, he basically didn't shy away from admitting that's what he's good and and that's what his role will likely be in his early career. The basketball gods smiled on us by giving us the #2 pick. I'm not sure they will shower down even more good fortune by putting us in a position to draft that kid. "Basketball Reasons" can buy you only so much good karma. Clarkson, Randle and Okafor...I think they might be starting to think we're even now.

Defense and Rebounding tend to translate better in the NBA. Hence why they're "safe" picks.
