I’m so pumped for Tony Khabib! I hope it happens. That being said, I was curious about Tony’s angry reaction to the reporter asking him about his mental health. Apparently, it not some ordinary anxiety or depression, but full on mania and psychosis + self medicating with alcohol. Holy cow, this guy needs to be on antipsychotics just to be normal. He probably is, actually. One of the biggest side effects can be extreme weight gain. I wonder how he’ll manage. https://www.attacktheback.com/a-detailed-timeline-on-tony-fergusons-mental-health/
Tony is an absolute animal but Justin Gaethje's improvements have been insane! The power, speed, accuracy, and stamina of Justin Gaethje for five rounds completely surprised me. I thought Tony fought well but Gaethje's power and wrestling just neutralized Tony. The fact Gaethje didn't run out of steam is very impressive. Gaethje vs Khabib will be fun. Khabib's a better grappler but Gaethje's striking and power can catch Khabib if he takes him lightly. Cejudo vs Cruz was tricky. Cruz was getting hit with 10-12 clean shots after a deadly knee. It probably should have continued but you can't blame the refs if you're not protecting yourself intelligently. Cejudo is an absolute animal... Elite wrestling, stamina, durability, and his striking has taken a huge leap considering just a few years ago, he was an average striker who relied strictly on wrestling. I don't think he is officially retiring but if he is, the UFC lost a good one. Ngannou's striking power is insane but I feel as if these wins aren't going to help him in the long run against guys like Cormier and Stipe who know how to defend themselves and wrestle him down. How has he been with his stamina, wrestling, and grappling? Still a lot of questions, IMO.

Easy to root for or against. But he has made himself marketable. By taking a long break from fighting, and then by losing, he is no longer in control of the division. Hope he takes the craft seriously and we still see some great fights in the future.
Should be a really fun fight tonight! Usman is the better fighter and should win, but Masvidal has had just amazing confidence and with it results his past handful of fights. You can never underestimate the fighter who believes in himself. Also, Jorge's takedown defense is severely underrated. His striking is better than Usman's, so if they standup for the first couple of rounds, Jorge has a legit shot. If Usman can take him down a few times, he wins by tko in the 4th. Jorge got tired from using Nate as a punching bag for 4 rounds. I fear how tired he'll be from fighting off Usman, who's a physical monster. I predict Masvidal actually wins rounds 1-2 by slightly outstriking Usman and stuffing his takedowns. By round 3, Usman will get a few takedowns and start landing bombs on the feet to a tired Masvidal. ROund 4, Usman will take him down relatively easy and via via ground n pound.
taking this fight on short notice and having to make weight (assuming that was the case) is actually pretty crazy. But the guy is on a great streak
22 lbs in 6 days, and he enjoyed a pizza on his first day...that’s crazy. By that math, you could be in shape in 30 days, sirron.
Clearly Chimaev is really freaking good. But is he fighting tomato cans, or is he so amazing that he’s mAking decent fighters look like cans? I mean, he has absorbed ZERO strikes in his last 3 fights.
