MJ could get to any spot he wanted at will and have complete separation.

Worse competition? Half the greatest 50 played in the 90s. Not sure what you mean by that.

MJ would have waxed Houston in both those years. Houston barely beat the Phoenix teams those years. Barely beat the Knicks in 1994.

MJ and the rules today would have been unfair. His mental game is what lullied you to sleep and then he'd put your entire team to sleep for good after.

Michael Jordan or LeBron James? For NBA fans, the debate over the better NBA player will never end -- but at the moment, MJ clearly has more fans in his corner.

A new poll commissioned by ESPN found 73% of NBA fans believe Jordan is the superior player overall, and the Chicago Bulls legend swept all 17 questions comparing him to James by metrics both on and off the court.

Kobe+Pippen+Rodman... I'm sorry but you can't tell me Kobe wouldn't have gone 6-0 in the Finals as well.... This isn't about who is better because I believe under the right circumstances, Kobe, Bron, and Jordan would have all done amazing in their own right. But to claim only Jordan could do it is laughable. Had Jordan beaten a prime Larry's C Bags or Magic's Showtime at their peak, we'd have a better discussion going but we all know KAJ would have destroyed those Bulls teams... Jordan fans expect us to be impressed that he needed 7 games to beat Rik Smits? Is Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton a top-five duo or something...? What am I missing here? The 08 C Bags were better than any team the Bulls beat in the Finals...

All Kobe needed to do was win in 2004 and 2008 and Kobe would be neck and neck with MJ.

MJs #1 spot is a combination talent and flawless accomplishments.

I recall a night on Game Day couple months before the copter crash you and @nzahir hard core mocking the notion Kobe was even in the same conversation with Jordan. (not me ... others) Pissed me off so much you two trashing Kobe like that on a Lakers forum I ripped you both over it the next morning.

    We're getting the NBA back.

Idk when, but I'll bet the house on it.

Obviously, it won't be normal, but it's coming.

I never said they weren't on the same tier. I was responding to someone who said Kobe was the GOAT and I have already stated that Jordan is the GOAT but under the right circumstances, LeBron, KAJ, Kobe, and Jordan are all on the same tier in terms of basketball ability. If we are comparing their careers, Kobe is not the GOAT and not in the same discussion as Jordan. If we are comparing basketball ability, then yes, Kobe is in the same discussion. I don't remember you ripping me for it. Most Lakers fans being polled would say MJ is the GOAT and that Kobe isn't in the same discussion. My narrative against Jordan is people think he's God when he was 1-9 in the playoffs without the Pipster and his team actually did amazing without him despite losing the 'God' of basketball.

There is very little chance that the Bulls would have beaten Houston for a fourth straight Championship. Just because you are saying it isn't convincing me that they would have. They were exhausted after three straight trips and they all said so in the Last Dance doc, especially Michael. He was already talking about retiring before his dad was killed. There is a reason no one has ever four-peated since the 1960s C Bags. It's so difficult given the length of the seasons and the playoffs, injuries, team chemistry/ego issues.

The bottom line is Jordan didn't beat Houston. He quit the game in his prime instead (I think he wanted to go out on top, and he knew he wasn't going to sustain yet another championship run at the time - he basically said as much in the doc.). The other guys - Kareem, Kobe, Lebron - didn't quit. They did not put themselves above the sport in that regard. I'll never give a guy who quit for a year and a half in his prime the title of the greatest. That's reserved for a guy like Kareem who truly was the GOAT basketball player including his inimitable run in high school, his utter domination in college and his untouchable NBA career.

Unfortunately, it seems you don't like to read. Aren't you the same guy who posted a rant about how some Chinese guy from a forum said China was the best and would surpass the United States and then when I asked you to elaborate, you disappeared? There is no scenario where Kobe is the GOAT and that is what that individual was trying to emphasize. Jordan is the GOAT. Yeah, I trashed Kobe vs the Pacers because he played terribly and that isn't something how Jordan would have played. What's your point? I never once proclaimed Kobe as the GOAT. Are you seriously sitting here telling me that Kobe is in the same discussion as Jordan in terms of accomplishments and career? Because that right there is how we weed out who is just a fanboy and who is using facts. Jordan never confirmed that Kobe was better than him. He said Kobe is the most like him. I'm not sure how you even decipher that to be Kobe = Jordan. The discussion we had also escalated to whether Kobe ever had a dominant playoffs series like Jordan and others have had. He simply did not. But in terms of TALENT and being able to play basketball, Kobe is on the highest tier. But in terms of an overall basketball career, he is not better than Jordan, KAJ, or LeBron IMO. Those guys will have ended their careers being simply more accomplished. That's not a slight against Kobe at all. I have him in my top five. I just don't let emotions blind the facts.

Null And Void": Judge Tosses Oregon Governor's COVID-19 Lockdown

The stay-at-home order is no longer in effect. It is invalidated. If people want to get their haircut, they can. They can leave their home for any reason whether it’s deemed essential in the eye of the state or not," he said, adding that the ruling was a vindication for both the freedom of religion and that of all Oregonians.

Yes, and so could Kobe. Have you ever seen the 81 game? Or the Mavs 62 in 3 quarters game? And so many others. Some of the greats have stated he was simply unguardable.

Yes, MJ faced worse competition for sure. It's not even debatable. Top 50 is about individual players. Rings are about what teams you faced in the playoffs and the Finals. MJ had cakewalks compared to Kobe. Someone help me out with the stat of how many 50 win teams Kobe defeated in the playoffs in his career compared to MJ. It's not even close. MJ never faced any team as tough as the Spurs teams Kobe destroyed before even getting to the Finals. MJ never faced any team in the playoffs as good as the 04 Pistons or 08 & 10 C Bags.

I don't really like GOAT lists because the game is so different for bigs and wings. But I do have MJ as the best wing of all time by a hair over Kobe. By a hair.

These plans all seem very iffy to me. They keep talking and talking but I don’t see many real steps being taken
