For what it's worth, I do agree our medical system is designed to train doctors to be drug pushers. They treat symptoms, and not cures. Very few doctors care enough to dig deeper to the actual cause to solve health issues. Are there bigger agendas at play? Probably.

I found that Dr. Shiva well spoken and in command of the topic, passionate, and a likely presidential candidate if he looked more like Captain America. I hope he achieves political success in his home state, as he clearly understands economics as well, and understands the damage Obama did to the economy. He put the US on a terrible trajectory, and it fit right into some other pretty awful agendas out there. Trump has just slowed the pace of our inevitable decline, but it's coming. It happens to every world leader over time. Our turn is coming, and it could get ugly.

With Dr. Shiva running for office soon and having one opinion and agenda, Fauci certainly an agenda and a different opinion and I bet if you talk to all the doctors and nurses risking their lives with inadequate quantities of protective gear .... they are going to have their opinions and the agenda of staying alive as some of them have already died due to this "conspiracy" theory of yours the virus and search for a vaccine for big pharma are all a hoax. That is of course if you believed in conspiracy theories which you don't.



Personally I think Dr. Shiva makes a lot of sense. So do the doctors on the front lines and so do the tests in France show great promise with the generic malaria drug cocktail that the opponents of Trump will never want to give any credence. Remember when the "experts" were comparing Covid-19 to "Spanish Flu". Millions were estimated to die even with social distancing measures included in the prediction model.

That's why the lockdowns were ordered in the first place.

Good stuff and good reporting. I am Highly suspicious of the exclusion of the generic, easily produced and inexpensive cocktail treatment to the 24/7 scientific and Media discussions. Which was having the same kinds of or quicker successes under the elite French doctor or professor.

Side effects? We talking about possible side effects when the odds are good they might die on the ventilator? These same potential side effects they tell me about 6 to 7pm every night for every single advertised drug? The names and conditions are hideous but yet they passed the FDA. So in addition to current actual high % of success we have this knowledge of its effectiveness from 15 years ago coming from this same guy’s mouth, now not acknowledging it? Right now, I’m still skeptical that hydroxychloroquine is safe and effective to implement on a large scale for the current strain of Covid. Yet alone that it had already been demonstrated to be safe/effective for 15 years. Reminder that coronavirus is more of a general category. Covid-19 is a type of coronavirus that has recently emerged.

Fauci is being painted by the Trump corner as the enemy. Seems to me that he represents the scientific community that has been pushing for lockdowns, and so the goal is to paint him as the boogeyman responsible for the economic struggles. Not sure I trust an unlinked article that seems to specifically portray Fauci as some nefarious criminal that is knowingly hiding good treatment options. What even would be the logic behind such a conspiracy?

The TV show clip revgen posted is interesting. In a vacuum, a pandemic is a good premise for a TV show conflict. Coronavirus is a family of virus we’ve know about for a while, for which it’s been known that anti-malarial have some level of effectiveness against. Many viruses originate from China.

So I could see a writer coming up with all those individual pieces.

But since when do mid-tier TV shows care about scientific accuracy. Most of the time they spout random lingo that doesn’t actually make sense because they think the audience won’t know enough to care.

So that show getting so many details about our current situation right is fascinating. I don’t think it’s anything conspiratorial, but definitely interesting.

 

I had mentioned that I had very bad “flu” symptoms in mid-January that I was hospitalized for. But tested negative for the flu and they chalked it up to “some sort of virus”.

Also over the past few months, my feet and toes have been red, swollen, and itchy. Googling the symptoms, I came across “chilblains” which looked to be what I had. But that’s usually caused by cold weather which I haven’t been in. Thought it might be athletes foot but anti-fungal meds didn’t seem to make a difference.

Now I’m hearing that this actually might be a Covid symptom!

Becoming more convinced that I already had this. Would love to get an anti-body test, and I think that would be an interesting data point for the medical community to better understand the timeline and range of symptoms for this virus.
