I just read Gobert wasn’t at the arena tonight, so they did at least keep him away from being around anyone where he could do more moronic things. Kids today are so effing stupid, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see people copying this idiot and calling it the Coronavirus challenge.

What hell man! I honestly didn’t think it’d come to this. This has seriously been the year from hell.

This is why this needed to be done. It’s not likely any players die from this, they’re young and incredibly healthy, but they travel constantly, and could be carrying it and spreading it.

I can understand the frustration of all fans alike but it is for the public good...

They probably restart without fans in the stands in 2 weeks: get everyone tested and self-quarantine and the give it a go.

Hopefully they just push the season forward 1 month (increase chance contained or warmer weather decreases transmission)

    Definitely sucks...

Was scheduled to go the Cavs/Lakers in CLE at the end of March and then my first ever game at Staples center April 1st. Bummer.

Bigger picture it’s the right move but damn does that suck.

Figured it would come to at the minimum empty arenas but once Rudy got it that was a wrap.

The good is our guys get "load management" rest. The bad we lose rhythm. I am sure the nba is going to be forced to cut games if this last for more than 2 weeks which is likely now that Rudy tested positive/

i read the suspension will last 3-4 weeks at most

i'm guessing they'll just cancel the rest of the regular season and start the playoffs when they were supposed to begin

Is it already known what happens next? Will they just postpone part of the season and the PO, or cancel the rest and start the PO based on the current positions? I can't imagine them cancelling the PO entirely.

This thing ain't going away in 2-3 weeks...

With the testing and the recent revelations that some of the players have the Novel Coronavirus, this thing may drag out longer. Utah is a playoff team and those guys need to get through the illness and out of the still contagious aftermath. Plus they will still need time to recuperate and get healthy enough to play!

I'd say it's more like 4 weeks at least.

A vaccine is 12-18 months away. I don't see this going away in just a few weeks.

Seems like a bunch of happy wishing. If at all possible, like Cuban mused, maybe if the playoffs finally started way past that and ended in August or something. And since no vaccine .... only if it were to burn out due to warm weather??????
