Amazing fight by the ladies. Very close decision. I had JJ with the slight edge. her more technical striking was very evident much of the fight. But, Zhang had the better shots and actually looked better that 5th round, so I can totally see her getting the win. That being said; wtf was that boys?????
https://sportsurge.net/#/groups/0 Check out this link for whenever there is an UFC fight. Zhang vs JJ was very close. I felt it should have been a tie but if you really had to pick a winner, you just gotta go with Zhang because of the damage she caused. Joanna looked unrecognizable after the fight. She landed some clean shots on Zhang but it didn't look like she was in any serious trouble the entire fight whereas I thought Joanna got hit with some shots that totally wobbled her. UFC should really run that one back. Joanna deserves it. The Adesanya and Romero fight was a total dull. I can't really fault Adesanya because he did his job. It's the challenger who has to step up and take the belt. Yoel just stood there playing magical hands and landed a few good shots but none that could justify the amount of time he spent just standing there waiting. I have no idea what his coaches were doing. Did they really think what he was doing would be enough? I know UFC judges are pretty bad but you have to be able to give them something to judge rather than expecting to win just because you landed a few clean shots. If I am the UFC, I am taking a hard look at whether or not you can put Yoel in the main or co-main slots. People pay good money to watch or attend the fight and you have this guy just standing there pretending he wants to fight.
The Zhang/Joanna fight was tremendous, Yoel fights seem always boring until they're not. This was straight trash from the start.
