it's hard with hindsight bias, but i feel like i was more open to dwight than i am to waiters or smith. i'm totally cool with lance--he was fine here before. and i'm ok with IT, though i do think there are some serious concerns with both defense and his past difficulties getting along with lebron. not sure how giving rondo's (lebron fav) minutes to IT would impact team harmony, which has been important this year, i think.

If by some miracle we add Jackson and Harkless you can schedule the parade.

yea, plus lance is that beverly-esque guy (strum guitar) that can really be the spark when the guys need it... much more open to the idea of bringing him onboard than the others... we'll see how it pans out.

New reports are that he’ll possibly pursue by end of month, so let’s see

He’s not a huge needle mover anyways imo, but positive boost

    Collison would’ve moved needle more

I don't want Lance - I'd take Jeff Green over him.

And I'm still not convinced Harkless is being bought out.

Utah basically found green unplayable, though, right?

that’s a concern. They rolled with that pudgy niang dude instead.

Idk. In a more limited role, I think he does fine; is he a little washed? Yes, but he isn't a complete liability on both ends on limited mins, IMO.

I mean, what we're looking at is who is less washed, right? LOL.

Rival executives better focus on their own s***ty teams. The only guy i will forever miss and admire is Jerry.

holds breath on the "rival executives think the lakers are a great team and a great organization" article.

jamaal franklin is still around? i liked that guy coming out of school (kawhi teammate, right?).

and i haven't watched much of green lately, but cranjis's take there is pretty much what i thought. if he had those abilities (shut down big wings), i think utah would have kept him. because they need that, too. joe ingles, donovan mitchell, bogdanovic, and the aforementioned niang ain't gonna cut it.

Jackson is the Marcus Morris of the PG , he can go to the Floppers and bring more pbs , I'm fine it .

I unfortunately don't think there is an upgrade available when it comes to shots creation .

Too bad as Pete and Darius touched on it on the LFR , going from somebody who is a 1 or 2 on a scale of 1-10 to a player who is a 4 or 5 would have done wonders to this team

Dwight antics/dumb behaviour weren't especially about what he did on the floor .

Dion and JR are making stupid B-ball plays on the regular basis

we *should* be able to address it in the offseason, but collison staying retired may have killed the chances for now.

Fun Fact: Jeff Green and Dion Waiters are both shooting 38.5% from the field this season.

Mike Muscala is also shooting 38.5% (Not really relevant, but a funny coincidence)

For context the three rank 399th, 400th, 401th in the league this season.

The fact that these two names are coming up is mindblowing to me. (Not Muscala)

The Lakers should hold an American Idol like cattle call audition for all basketball players in the world, make a reality show out of it and let them play.

Chances are that player would be better than either of those two.

ETA: Reggie Jackson is shooting 38.4%

Lonzo is shooting 39.7% for more context.

It's like searching the basketball equivalent of the Mendoza line for players.

(And yes I'm aware Waiters hardly played this season... but he hasn't been much better his whole career)

Had to look up Mendoza line before I was sure I could like it.
