Not trading Danny Green and Kuz for Morris, come on, wtf. Dude is a loser, he committed to the Spurs and then chose the Knicks instead. I question your sanity if you do that, and I absolutely question if you give a f*** about winning. I can also see him messing with our team chemistry, Green especially is a team first guy and seems super well liked.

It would be extremely cold of us to trade DG after he waited on us in Free agency. It’s a business at the end of the day though I guess

let the clips have him. i'd enjoy finding out that we were just out there upping their bid for the knicks, though.

Just don’t see a trade happening right now. You don’t gut a team for the type of guys whose names are being tossed around right now.

I’d trade for Spencer no doubt.

    Rob has my respect, man.

He's going after it. We just lack the assets.

We still need a wing and a guard, though.

    Why you blaming Mem?

If we were on the other end, nobody here would let Iggy go for nothing

Doesn't look like we're capable of making any extraordinary moves. I think last night proved that we really do need a competent scorer/playmaker outside of LeBron. I love AD and he's a top five player but he's a power forward and those guys aren't going to move the needle in terms of creating for others in this generation. I gave up on Iguodala a long time ago. Just don't think Memphis cares about what others think about them. Over time, no one will care that they held Iguodala there. Iguodala signed a contract and he was traded. There is nothing to hate Memphis for. Darren Collison is obviously the most obtainable piece if both sides are serious but I question just how dedicated he may be due to the fact that just a few months ago, he was calling it a career. The Spencer Dinwiddie, Schroder, etc.,... I don't know how that would have worked. Again, our only positive assets at this point outside of Bron/AD are Kuzma and Caruso. I doubt we will trade Caruso and I just don't think teams are willing to take on Kuzma with the other contracts we have. Plus, we're the Lakers. We have to pay premium because the rest of the league hates us.

They could use him, but the created a level of resentment amongst the players to where that's not an option. When they thought they were going to be bottom feeders, there position was they were not going to let him go. They already got one asset out of GS in the deal. They're being greedy. If we were bottom feeders and were holding onto one of the most respected vets in the game, wasting away the time he had left just cause (has nothing to do with fit, youth movement, etc) then yeah I would blame the Lakers for how they were handling the situation.

Lmao, stop. They aren't being greedy... YOU are being greedy. You expect Memphis to dump Iguodala right into our hands. Easily, atm, Iguodala is a piece every team would want. They might not like his contract but Memphis has zero incentive or reason to drop him. Memphis owes no one anything. Iguodala is the one who will be getting paid millions to do nothing. He was a part of the players association. He knew what was entailed with that when he signed his contract and the Warriors traded him. And no, I wouldn't blame us if we held a respected vet so others wouldn't get him. If they want him, pay up. If not, this is MY asset.

Not really expecting us to do much. Best thing we can hope for is Collison does come out and retirement and signs with us.
