I agree with others, last night showed once again how the Lakers are the class act of the NBA. Wonderful tributes to Kobe and Gia and everyone who was in the tragic crash. It was a tough but beautiful night. I shed some tears. I was glad to see the team play and was wowed by AD and Kuzma and Lillard. Dame has always been the closest guy to the Mamba mentality I've seen since Kobe. He's a stone cold killer. I had a feeling he would go off and would beat us and he did. He's like the mini Mamba. I loved how he competed and his post game talk.

Overall, it felt cathartic to get back to the game we all love, even if the occasion was such a sad one. I loved Lebron's speech too. And Flea's apparel from Sketch at the Slauson Swap Meet! Flea is the best. What a wonderful, heartfelt interview he gave in appreciation of Kobe. Flea is honest and such a true Lakers fan. Huge kudos and thanks to Jeannie Buss and the Lakers org for delivering such a moving, and classy tribute.

These past three days for me were surreaI. I got in late last night after midnight and watched all of it. Didn't go to bed until 4am. I don\'t ever recall crying that late at night or early in the morning.

Today I have decided to make this my last day of mourning. We are going to the game in Sac tonight. Healing takes time but its time to start really celebrating a life that made mine more special. Tonight will be tough, but tomorrow will shine my own Mamba mentality.

    What a week.......

Time for the Lakers to shake it in Kobe's honor and go grab that trophy! That is exactly what the Black Mamba would have done.

    GO LAKERS!!!

I'm prepared to go to $2900 but that's a little higher than originally figured when I got up this morning and saw it. :( ;)

That was cute, but it was also like something you'd see a parent do from the sixties or seventies during the era of no adult supervision and no seatbelts

I went into last night expecting to feel some kinda way, trying real hard not to cry in front of my wife. But Amazing Grace totally took me out of it. It was corny and cringy. The church organs and baptist gospel twang he put on it made me actually roll my eyes. Get outta here with that ish.

I also appreciated the assist. The Boyz to Men song made me say WTH were they thinking, but it WAS the thought that counted.

To pull together all that they did in a few days while dealing with grief was nothing short of phenomenal. I've accepted what suits my taste doesn't suit everyone, so I pretty much roll with whatever.
