We need help at the wing and have no trade assets. Ariza could of been had for cheap. Our only real SF is Lebron... we need someone to come off the bench and Ariza can still play decent defence and hit a shot

Well I love the Nets floor and was completely tripping out on it. Maybe Brooklyn wanted the Pleasentville advantage for their home games.

The Nets court is actually pretty awesome in person. It has more natural wood tones in it so it’s not pure gray. Definitely a weird transition to TV though.

My eyes kept telling my brain the background was black and white and the players in color. Reminded me of this:

Yes. Was watching on a large accurate display and the colors started kind of growing on me. From the lower camera angles some of us agreed it had that industrial chic polished concrete look. But then from the few high angle shots looking pretty much straight down you could see the fitted plank pattern.

We are incapable of defending athletic wings. I don’t know how we fix that. Kawhi led us on and made sure the talent pool dried up too.

We need scoring... and yet, Cook and Daniels are getting DNP's. Are they injured? Another Vogel's brain fart?

Rondo hogging the ball for 10 seconds and making inaccurate passes kills the offense.

lane clogging messes up Rondo unless he can make a quick early pass. These guys were way too quick

There are 2 things that frustrate me about his game on this team: First, is that he takes too long to pass the ball like he’s waiting for something to develop that doesn’t and then has to rush a pass for a turnover. Sort of like an NFL quarterback waiting too long for his primary receiver to get open, but not checking down and passing to his 2nd and 3rd option fast enough. So he gets sacked instead.

Second, he dribbles into the key, but doesn’t take the 10-12 footer, then if the lob isn’t there he dribbles out. I don’t see why he does that, or any player for that matter, because that’s a high percentage shot that can yield other benefits later in the game. Others are hesitating in the key as well like Kuz, which is odd because last season he takes the shot. It makes me wonder if the new coaching staff tells them to look for something else like the lob and that causes the hesitation that throws the whole possession out of whack. Just take that shot damn near every time and interior opportunities open up.

We're not a championship team current - the roster needs help.

Vogel also needs to get his head out of his a** with respect to Rondo and pull the fu*kin leash and limit his mins.

Why not try more Cook or Daniels? Just very dumb.

Either way, if we stand as is, I'll be disappointed.

I was waiting for Cook and Daniels to get time last night, which I do many nights. They likely would have had a tough time against those long defenders, but at least put them in to kill some minutes and get guys more rest especially where road trip fatigue is an issue.

I just like when a player like Cook can come in and scatter around bringing a different pace to the game than what LeBron brings and hopefully causing some mayhem. And we just need a few 3pt makes from C&D to stretch the lead or get us back in the game.

I see where they are giving JR Smith a look, yet they won’t give Daniels more minutes to shoot. I give up on the Cook and Daniels issue.

caruso should be playing rondo's minutes. i know he's not going anywhere because AD likes him but its so obvious he does nothing but hurt the team when he's out there

Yeah we got weaknesses as every team has but Lebron can't play the facilitator role in the 4th

It was a 5pt game with 5 minutes , he missed a wide open 3 then kept passing the ball .

You can have all the D Rose and Covington of the world , it matters a lot less than the performances of the best players in the playoffs .

Same things are killing the Lakers in each loss.
-loss of an elite wing defender with length. Usually it's been big wings have killed us but this time the Lakers didn't have the classic Phil Jackson move of moving a larger defender onto the hot player (in this case Lillard)
    -lack of consistent shooting
    -lack of playmaking outside Lebron.

I don't think Kuzma is the answer and Green/Avery/Rondo either suck in Rondo's case or wildly inconsistent. Kuzma had a decent night on the score sheet but you just can't plug him into a lineup to plug a hole on defense.

Igoudala/Collison signings would solve essentially all the Lakers problems but if not trading Kuzma for Bogdonavic if available is a move I'd make and then that will allow you to move Greens contract for a guy like Covington.
