Mine is they won't tonight step out of the box a bit and load manage Rondo with his finger and start AC at the point a few games. He's been getting better all year. Let's see what he's got. Preferably with AC still out and Kuz starting again, if not both Lebron and AD out again. I doubt Bron sits a second game and certainly not against Cleveland.

In the top 50 players with most total minutes played this season

    LeBron is 14th
    AD is 35th

    Interesting stat:

Only 3 players in the top 50 are older than 30. LeBron, PJ Tucker and Chris Paul. I still think we need to play LeBron less. 35 mpg is too much for the guy with the 10th most minutes in NBA history in his 17th season.

    For comparision:

Giannis is playing 29 mpg and is 51st on the list.
Kawhi is 115th on the list and has played less than 2/3rd of Lebron's minutes.

AD at 35 is great, imo, considering his age and value to the team.

lebron at 14th is less than ideal, but again, still better than any other year in his career. i'd like to see two minutes shaved off that number and think it's possible. but i don't know that he's really a candidate for load management. chris paul is--he's got a bone on bone type knee condition. kawhi's got...whatever that is...lebron's just older.

tim duncan dropped below 30mpg in his age 34 season, and it would be nice if lebron got closer to 30.

Karl Malone played 36 minutes per game at 39 years of age

Charles Barkley played 36 minutes per game at 35 years of age and was done the next season.

Zion has yet to play due to injuries

I think the key for huge muscular guys to last a long time is to play lower to the ground.

If LBJ plays like Mailman the rest of his career he can go on for five years.

If he plays like Barkley and Zion then he probably doesn't last as long.

He should cut down on those spectacular plays unless needed to win a game and play like Magic did.

Unlike Dwight he has more to offer than pure athleticism so he should just save his body and play the point and only drive and take punishment during close games.

I think he should play his game, and continue to prepare his body accordingly. As his hops deteriorate, he should continue to develop his footwork, fakes, floaters, strength, drop steps, post game, etc. With his size and strength and vision, he can be effective for a long time if his body holds up.

He's not ready to play under 30 minutes a game yet, but we saw Stockton's career extended several years with masterful load management by Sloan in Utah.

I think he has been doing that. The development of his three ball is a concession to old age. I'm still amazed how high he gets up and how athletic some of his scores are but the more he does it, the more likely he abbreviates his career.

So far LBJ hasn't been cursed with some chronic tendinitis like condition... he can go on indefinitely until something like that happens because of his skill at passing. But if he keeps going up into the air for one of those crowd pleasing alley oops then it will be a matter of time before something gives out.

If I were him I'd keep developing his shots from range and stay low to the ground like Magic. He's way healthier than him so no telling how long he'd play like that.

ESPN shows Giannis at 30.9 mpg, but I think that’s just because the team is so dominant this year.

They lead the league in point differential per game, so there are a lot of fourth quarters he is sitting since he does not need to play

Those photos and what happened to your girlfriend’s home town are awful. Hope it works out for her and her family and friends where they had to relocate to. Crazy there was that photo you shared of her standing up on the rim of it looking in at some point prior.

That is really crazy. I wouldn't say I hate it now, but I do really miss the lost art of the mid-range shot.

Midrange jumper, what is that? I know about dunks, layups, floaters and three-point shots.

That's really sad to see it so vividly and graphically displayed when you consider the loss of skills and variety represented by all the f****** dead space on the current graph.

Glad we have Lebron doing more in this area at least than he used to, Kuzma who is trying to get there and AD as well. McGee should get more credit too for the footwork and moves down low he has developed decent competency with.

Yes, I agree... a trend we've seen over time, but it is still somewhat staggering to see it represented so starkly in the image above.

It's about time to recognize we .... well, at least I was mocking him erroneously for shooting them in practice early in the season

.... that he should probably shoot them when wide open out there. Hell at least until he starts horribly missing like everyone would reasonably expect.
